The room was fine and the property was fine. I take issue with paying for parking when there wasn’t any due to an event they were hosting.

The hotel was spacious and clean. However, we had to pay for parking, but I did not see a security guard in the lot to justify the charge, and it was not a parking lot. We could have easily parked at one of the two hotels on either side for free and walked. The elevators need maintenance, as they made scary sounds and were very jerky. Lastly, we were woken by a knock at the door at 8:30 AM and by someone trying to come in (we assume it was housekeeping, as they clearly had a key. If check-out time is 11, this should never happen. I did let the front desk know and they did apologize.

Maintenance was prompt on assessment of unit but did not fix anything. I did hear a lengthy rant on how staff didn’t show up so they had to work extra. Also didn’t get meal vouchers I paid for. I’m sure someone got them just not my family.

It was located midst a group of stand along the interstate hotels. It was the ONLY one that charged extra for parking or breakfast. This was NOT a downtown hotel, so it made no sense to add those extra charges, just because they could.
