Hotels under renovation so little dusty I had double bedroom the bathroom it was not well cleaned tub was extremely dirty even the next day housekeeping came in, but still didn’t clean the bathroom very thoroughly. I can say I enjoy the happy hour as well as the food breakfast very enjoyable almost felt like being in all exclusive hotel. If I had to change anything it would be the cleaning of the bathrooms and hotel rooms detail cleaning that is.

The staff was accommodating and friendly. The system experienced a nationwide outage. We were sent to two rooms that was occupied, rooms later I was finally settled. The rooms smelled damp, like mildew as setting in and parts of the carpet was wet, the shampoo and body wash continuers was empty. A hospitality was hosted and the room was hot, no a/c. This was experienced in the foyer and atrium,

Breakfast was amazing

Everything was good. The last two nights they had an event, and it was very hard to find parking.

Hotel could be a little more cleanly given carpets looked dirty/outdated and construction was going on in the floor above. Staff at front desk was not helpful as well especially handling the manual check in due to system failure (e.g. unorganized line/management) and room service requests for essentials like toilet paper. Staff made us go down to pick it up and failed to deliver it promptly. Breakfast room was also utilized for a conference which limited our ability to freely utilize the lobby. Breakfast was good and met expectations.

Over the many years the rooms have not changed. Although the common areas have been remodeled. The rooms have not. The old furniture is same. I think the carpet is also. It used to be a lovely place to stay. This time I noticed the carpet tho vacuumed by housekeeping cannot clear the years of dirt/stains off. It is dingy & dirty. The shower/tub was repaired (re-coated) with a coating that was peeling off & there was a black substance around the drain. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. A coffeemaker but no coffee, sugar, etc. There was only one washcloth provided. The toilet paper was so thin you could see through it. The toilet flushed very slowly. I was disappointed by the condition I found at a place that was once my go-to hotel. Positives: staff was friendly & helpful. The provided breakfast & morning staff were friendly & did their jobs well. The ice machine was operative. The beds were comfortable & linens were clean & fresh. The pillows were comfortable & there were plenty for each guest. The room allowed the guest to adjust the temperature as desired. I saw a sign that renovations were ongoing. I hope so. If the facility can be brought back to the days where it was the to go to place to stay during the LSU SPORTS Seasons, it would make me happy to return to Embassy Suites once again. I spent time writing this hoping the right folks will see it.

The front desk staff was amazing and very helpful

Originally the place was remarkably clean. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken and was the reason we booked here. The morning we checked out there was trash everywhere. Down the halls, in the elevators, it was awful. Also there were people screaming in the hallways at 3:45am.

Everything was wonderful. A few construction issues no problem. HVAC created a heavy air but not a major issue.

The only thing that I have is during 5:30pm to 7pm the lady at the bar was by herself fixing drinks for customers. She could use some help.

First problem we ran into was that the toilet did not properly flush. Meaning we could only flush the toilet every 30mins maybe more. This room was shared by 3 women by the way that had just got off the road from driving for 4 hrs straight. Then while showering the tub would fill up as if it was stopped up and it was noticed that it was poorly cleaned. Ewwwww, tried calling down noticed the phone was working 😒 so I walked down to report the issues and asked if I could be moved unfortunately they were booked completely and I could not be moved. Requested an extra blanket never received it and there wasn’t enough towels placed in the restroom to bathe with so again we had to go down to retrieve them. Other guest was rude and inconsiderate and no one bothered to say anything about their kids running throughout the halls at 6am screaming loudly ahhhhh I really hate leaving bad reviews but overall I might’ve slept 30mins because I wasn’t comfortable at all staying there. I also seen a few bugs I will never revisit

Staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and courteous

The room was clean, however, the AC unit was not cooling enough. The staff was helpful and was able to move us to another room with better AC. That worked. Breakfast was good. Check in and check out was also good.
