Bedbugs & no refund even though we checked out less than 2 hours after checking in. We made the mistake of not heeding the sign that said “no refunds after check in” should have been suspicious.

Since the bought super 8,the maintenance has gone down

First, the property is still branded as a Super 8. I live in town and I felt confused when I drove up, so I imagine anyone from out of town would be, as well. I did not see any Staywell branding or signs. Secondly, I don't feel the employee working the Front Desk was very helpful, nor was he courteous. I walked in and mentioned that I may be in the wrong place. I said I thought I booked at Staywell. He did not confirm that I was actually at a Staywell until I asked. Once he handed my room key to me and I left the office, I also realized he did not tell me which side of the building my room was on. My disappointment built from there. There was a recliner with ottoman right by the door. The ottoman was highly stained. The bathroom sink had poorly repaired cracks and looked dirty, perhaps because of the crack. Those are the items I found most significant. A few other items: this property has exterior doors to the rooms and is located in a somewhat sketchy area, the room's lighting did not sufficiently illuminate the room, the ice machine gave me 6 ice cubes and then gave up, there were only two pillows on the bed, and the towels provided were one of each type only, as in insufficient to parties of 2 or more.

Broken bed, no over king available to switch . Loud neighbors, no actions taken . Told I couldn’t get refund because I booked through 3rd party. Ended up not being able to use my reservation and left . Very unhappy

2. When I entered my reserved room, it smelled of urine and cigarette smoke. There was a dead bug on the bathroom floor. I kept spraying the air conditioning with Lysol to relieve the stench. The bed sread had cigarette burns on it luckily I carry my own blankets, sheets, and pillows. The smoke detector was disabled and put in the bedside table next to the bed. The remote control for the TV was not programmed correctly so it skipped channels and would not respond to simple digit inputs. 3. I went to a Dollar General and bought carpet deodorizer and Febreze and sprayed the carpet. 4. Would not recommend or make a reservation here ever again. I left earlier than planned.

No working telephone in my room. I killed a roach that night. Misleading information about the appearance of the room and building location. It was a peaceful, quiet night, but it the hotel looks like a rundown, old establishment. Upgrades are definitely needed!

My stay was good and most staff was pleasant and helpful. However, the maintenance guy was always saying something to me. If I ran down to pick up my guest barefooted he had to tell me i need to have shoes on at all times, he told me I was going to the garbage too often, etc. I thought everyone was adults but I guess I looked like somebodies child??? Or maybe it was because I was potential going to be his assistant which is why I no longer sought employment. I didn't want to work under someone like him. Other than that I had a good stay.

Very disappointed. Definitely not clean, smells bad, and very old. The bed we slept on was broken and in the middle of the night something behind the bed fell apart.

TV did not work, the door closes and locks but it's still doesn't look like his clothes all the way you could still see between the door and a panel so still didn't feel too safe in the room, whom didn't smell all that good, Tower rack was broken, the bathroom is not all that appealing paint peeling off the walls so it needs to be redone, room is not all that lit up with lights, the sign says super 8 but apparently it's not super 8, just appearance of it is not all that inside and out

Well the staff in the office told us to leave after they took our money, clam we was on the do not rent list switch apparently was a lie and racist to put someone out like that with no explanation as to why it's just not.S

The only positive thing about this place is that the front desk attendant was nice, that’s it. The room smells
