The hallways smelled like weed, cigarettes and despair. Visible wire nuts on the a/c unit. The kids only swam in the pool for 5 minutes and said it smelled like poop. Room door had to be forcibly opened and closed. Closer to a trap house than a hotel.

Upon check in the young lady told me they didn’t have that room available so she upgraded me to a king suite which I appreciate but why wasn’t the room I booked available she didn’t tell me why. I don’t think I will be staying there again if a room I booked won’t be available. Overall hotel was great they have a small bar in there I recommend people to check out!

Staff was courteous and helpful Over all an average stay
-
Only negative is that the WIFI was intermittent at best and very slow.

The pool was very cold. I had to try three different rooms before I got in. One was being repaired, one didn’t open with a key card, and the one we stayed in was really musty. There was only decaf coffee in my room too.

Do not stay here.. the place smells.. I had to order deodorizer to even stay there. I left it in the room hoping they got the hint. There is no elevator.. ?? There was over an inch of dust on the headboard.. I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t had to put scent things out. The carpet was disgusting walking up two floors to the room. I complained.. but was told.. they couldn’t do anything because it was booked through a third party. The regional manager was there when I checked out.. I can see why this place sucks.. she was to busy chatting.. then asking me how my stay was..

Staff wouldn’t answer phone when calling before I came and she wasn’t very helpful

The room wasn’t up to date as shown on the pictures, I specifically got that room for the jetted tub and it didn’t work , the pool was closed, no elevator the rugs in hall way where stained , … staff was nice

Check out staff was absolutely rude.

Clean room. Very nice staff. Breakfast was delicious. Will be back

The sink in the back was draining water slow so I’m sure that needs to be addressed, and the toilet could have been cleaned better. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay.

I would recommend for people to not even try to go to this hotel. They blamed everything on Expedia. I had not once had an issue with Expedia, and they overbooked themselves. I didn't get the room I paid for but yet I paid the amount of upgraded room it said upgraded. And then when I looked at the other rooms that were the same as what I had, they were a $100. So I had to pay $75 more per night for an upgraded room that was not upgraded. I'm still not getting any help from Expedia either, and since I didn't like the fact that I was overpaying, and didn't get what I asked for we did get kicked out and she told me she would refund my money and then then she didn't, and this was the worst service. I have ever got the TV didn't work. There was no coffee. There was no breakfast, as noted. I just suggest anybody to not go to this hotelIf you're going to battle creek, pick another one, another hotel. On top of all of our problems, we talked 6 other people that were so unhappy. One lady said she had bugs in her room. When I checked in, I had to witness her bad attitude, Renee towards the customer in front of me who had talked to somebody about looking at the room prior to getting the room, and they had booked it as a 24 hour. Cancelation, so they were charging her for this room. That she didn't even book. My kids and I were here, we couldn't watch t v.We couldn't even play on our phones half the time. And it was a worse experience.I've ever had.

We hated that our bed sat on a metal box frame that made an atrocious clanging sound if either my or I turned over. Our room felt sterile, and lacked the furniture we’re used to seeing at other hotels. Our bathroom door didn’t shut and our toilet had no back it. The breakfast room is small and the staff doesn’t keep it stocked. We had to leave the property and get food elsewhere because everything was out. Overall, our room and stay felt unwelcoming. We won’t be booking with this hotel when stay in Battle Creek.
