The poor rating is due to the fact there were roaches in the room. If there’s roaches in one room they will be in all the rooms. The front desk was notified and we were told they could move us to another room. We declined as we were tired from our trip and just wanted to get some sleep. We ended up sleeping on top of the bed and thankfully had our own blankets.

The bathroom was very clean and the room was a nice size. The pool was very clean, a little warm. But not to bad. The staff was great, and breakfast was very nice Lots of choices. Will definitely be back.

The lady that checked us in was an absolute doll. She gave us great advice, was super empathetic, and made sure we knew what we needed to know as visitors. All in all, cute and fucntional

Not much on the menu for breakfast. There was a waffle maker and some kind of square egg looking things. Cereal and juice. Room was clean and quiet while the A/C also worked well.

Proximity to Town and Matagorda Beach. Awesome hot showers. Had a refrigerator with a separate freezer. Excellent No issues noted

The room is large and quiet. Housekeeping is great. Shower and tub sparkling clean. A lot of parking. some minor wear and tear. Crack in corner of bathroom mirror.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, soft bed, well lit parking You can’t cook in the rooms. As a nuclear worker, being away from home months at a time, I don’t like spending additional money on food when I can cook.
