Hampton Inn Houston Baytown

Breakfast area was super clean and had good selection. The lady running the room was excellent at keeping things stocked and the food was pretty good. The room itself was not ok. The bed was super comfortable and with the dark curtains, we slept so well! The problem was the cleanliness. I took a bath and could see the inside of the toilet and there was a ring of what looked like mold or black mildew around the bowl. Also under the soap dish. I put on brand new socks and later that night the white socks were almost black from walking around the room. The floor must have been filthy.

Customer service needs work

All staff that I encountered were great and the room was great as well. Just a little outdated stuff and ripping of the leather, but other than that honestly it didn’t bother me much.

The elevators were inoperable, so staying on the 2nd floor wasn’t ideal. It would have been helpful if they had emailed us beforehand so we could pivot as we had others in our traveling group that cannot do stairs. We could have gotten them a different hotel.

Room was never made up. Carpeting was funky. AC worked well.

Elevator was out and I was on the top floor(3rd). Had to use stairs along with every else.

Great breakfast. Rated lower because elevators did not work, had been out 3 weeks already. Room good, clean, and staff helpful.

No microwave elevator not working

Nothing the elevators were down! Very old needs renovation!

Elevator out the entire week. Unable to adjust water temperature in shower to get it more than lukewarm

Dirty and ragged rooms. Elevator didn’t work. The carpet was all stained and dirty everywhere. Horrible experience

Besides the rain hitting very hard the stay was great parking was good until 18 wheelers and trucks with gooseneck trailers took up most of the parking lot but still was a great stay

When checking in, I felt that the staff couldve been more friendlier. The carpet in the room was sticky & gross. They room had a wierd smell. When taking a shower the water doesnt get hot. Breakfast was decent & there was a lot of parking available.
