Studio 6 Baytown, TX - Garth Road

TV worked half the time and our room smelled like weed all weekend, I complained but nothing was done about it

The room was not as described, was trashy and run down, ad said kitchen but there was no kitchen at all, wasn't worth it at all, TV didnt work or anything, felt ripped off

After reserving two rooms and requesting wheelchair accessible, when I got there they only had second row rooms and no elevator. We had to cancel and get one a room elsewhere. A lot of trouble.

the room was very dirty , as if it never got cleaned from previous guests .. whenever i complained to the staff , her exact words were “ i do apologize but to be honest you get what you paid for ” and told me she's not able to switch my room nor was she able to get a housekeeper to come refresh the room .. this is ridiculous , i never had this type of experience ..

Had a really good stay , pretty affordable and the STAFF WAS AMAZING !!

The pool was broken been broken for 4 years, went to get some towels to take a shower, they didn’t have any towels to give us, the hotel room was clean but smelt like something was dead in the room I even sprayed air freshener and it never covered up the smell

The exterior needs some lipstick and rouge but the inside the rooms, perfect!

Staff were kind and helpful. Outside of facilities are quite dilapidated. The bedside lamp was broken, and the bathroom door would not fully close. Great staff, poor quality facilities.

It was convenient for my plans for my son's birthday. The smell in my room.

You're pool was closed this month and last month and I called before I came this time and they said it was opened, they lied and last month someone walked right in on us ,without knocking and we were distracted with other personal things, it was very embarrassing

It was really good because animals stay Free and they were really not in your business like most motels are

My husband and I work a lot in the Houston area. We have been staying at Studio 6/Motel 6 off and on for years. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our cat travels with us so I love that the hotel is pet friendly. Room is always clean. Beds are comfortable and soft. Price is reasonable. The only con is that sometimes the water isn’t real hot. The outside of the hotel needs to be updated. Most of the doors need to be repainted. Other than that, it’s a great stay.

Things Everything

The staff member that checked me in. She was very attentive and explained everything in detail. The amenities that are advertised were not available and I was told there was an additional deposit to use them. The rooms have a pair of mildew in them. I asked to change rooms and they both smelled awful.
