Candlewood Suites Beachwood Cleveland by IHG

The room was nice the fact that it hasn’t stove and a full refrigerator with an ice machine was a super plus of my book. I wouldn’t find it necessary to need a dishwasher, but everything else overall was nice. The elevators did not work properly, and they ended up putting one out of service altogether, and the fact that you only have two baggage cards for all those rooms

The hotel was really nice, and the upkeep of the hotel was very clean. Close to Target, TJ Maxx, several restaurants, and a shopping center. The staff were nice, and they definitely kept the hotel very clean. There was plenty of parking. The only complaint was the room had a strong smell when we checked in, but the room was nice, spacious, and clean.

When we got there the staff made us aware the dishwasher had broken and that the room would be ready in 5 minutes twenty minutes later we went in it smelled like mold or smelly feet. We couldn’t stay they had no other rooms so we got refunded the staff was very friendly apparently they didn’t even have breakfast just coffee we went to another one down the road for $50 less and no bad smell

Everything was clean and updated. The bed was comfortable. I just wish they had a pool. They provided everything you need for a good stay

The staff were nice, but the room was not clean when we arrived. They told us it was and it had been cleaned, but there was crusty stuff stuck on lights and counters.

I was setup with a single with larger bed but was told that since i set it up on different site they had to give me what was left

I booked a suite with a King size bed but was placed in a room with a smaller bed. The bathroom door was broke it wouldn't shut.

Everything was above average meaning clean, good customer service, and a great location for my personal needs

My room was recently remodeled in a pleasant, understated contemporary style. But the remodelers apparently forgot to install a toilet paper holder in the bathroom, and there was no toilet paper in the room when I first arrived. For some reason the room was fitted with floor-length blackout curtains that draped over the heating/cooling unit. Also the room had not been adequately cleaned; there were a few hairs on the bathroom floor, and a sticky residue on the counter in the kitchen area.

We booked this room for my mom - my dad was having a procedure at Cleveland Clinic and she needed to be close. It was convenient and fit the bill for her overnight stay perfectly. Thank you!
