Very old hotel, room are not meeting the expectations at all, not clean and very old furniture, staff are nice but breakfast did not get filled 30 minutes before the closing time, not good hotel

The property was close to my family, the breakfast was good although you might consider extending the hours from 930 to maybe 1030.

The front desk clerk was very nice and very courteous. She helped me retrieve my reward number. The breakfast staff was very nice.

Staff presented themselves in a professional manner. The manager or whomever is over that particular site needs to consider upgrading the hotel. The one in independence Ohio to me has a bit more of an upgraded style. The elevators were down most of the time of my stay with only one working. My water was lukewarm to cold for the shower which is unpleasant. Overall the stay was good just quite a bit of inconvenience.

I truly enjoyed the treatment I received from Pam, the bartender. However, the hotel stay wasn’t as pleasant. In the breakfast area, there was a water leak, the elevator wasn’t working on Sunday and there wasn’t any hot water. And as a guest, we were not informed of any of the incidents. Also, housekeeping forgot to fully replenish our towels. I was in room 233

I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times before and loved it. But this time I had A LOT of problems. 1. There was a party letting out from the party room, children were running around loudly. A group of people were standing out front laughing and talking loudly. Mind you I checked in at 1am. 2. I check in and I'm told about a $100 per night fee. I've been to hotels with a $100 deposit during your stay, not each night. The front desk said the money goes right back on after I check out. I checked out on Sunday. It's Wednesday & no money has been put on my account. 3. I get my key and go to park but the lot was full. He tells me I can park across the street from the hotel, which was not really near. I checked in at 1am, I'm a woman who is there alone. 4. I found a space near the back. It's very well lit by the door. I go to go in with my key, as you do at most hotels after hours, and the door does not open. I wasn't going to walk alone. I call the front desk guy and he tells me that those doors lock from 11pm-7am. So what's the purpose of the key to get in the door as security, if you can't use it? He tells me to walk around the building, which is pitch black with trees. I tell him it's too dark and too much foliage to walk alone. So, I ask him to come open the door and he does. 5. I go to my room. I use the key card, the door unlocks and I go to walk in the room and the security latch is on, meaning it is someone else's room! That was very unsafe for me, a woman at 1am!

The toilet could bench higher, very uncomfortable and hard to get up.

I spent on night at this hotel. I did not use any of the facilities. The room was comfy the only complaint is the toilet is extremely low and hard to get up for those with bad knees.
-
I asked for room away from freeway and it took the clerk two tries to get it right.
