Residence Inn by Marriott Cleveland Beachwood

Room size. Cleaning crew knocked on the door two hours before checkout. Do not disturb sign was hanging. Real sausage not chicken sausage. It was terrible. Breakfast staff did not speak English.

The worst hotel stay I have every had. Minimum staffing unable to properly provide basic customer service especially the communication hand off was poor bc I had to call the front desk several times of a non working toilet. The hotel was sold out I couldn’t be moved to another room until guests checked out the next day. I has to go to front desk myself to pick up a visibly used plunger in a toolbox maintenance probably would have used. No maintenance available after 11pm. Only 1 person in charge of the massive property. It was below basic standards of any hotel let alone a Marriott property!!! I feel robbed of the 200 plus rate I had to pay. Incredibly disappointing!!!

PRICE FOR THE STAY WAS EXPENSIVE

The hot tub is under construction currently and the gym is quite minimal unsurprisingly

Tub drain was very slow so it was like taking a bath and a shower at the same time.

The furniture were broke, the plugs for charging were not working and the staff was not cooperative at all.

The rooms were very nice with good size and amenities and we had the 2 bedroom suite. It was also very quiet at night for sleeping. We were on the courtyard side.

It was nice comfy bed breakfast was excellent The hot tub was down but that was one reason for booking this hotel. Never said it was down

The property needs a lot of TLC and attention to the small details. We stayed in multiple rooms and all of them were not properly cleaned. The bathroom sinks had hair , linen had visible hand felt stains, sofa beds weren’t dusted . This is a nice property in a great location but someone just needs to check after the rooms are cleaned

I loved the accommodations. It was a very nice stay.

Outside of a pull out couch with dirty laundry and a broken hot tub, everything was normal and nice.

Great weekend experience at this property

The location was convenient and in a great area with plenty of nearby restaurants and shopping. The staff was friendly and courteous throughout our stay. We also appreciated being upgraded to a larger suite when our original room was not yet ready. The breakfast was adequate and offered a good variety. While the room was functional, the hotel felt very dated and in need of renovation. The bathroom showed signs of age, including rust in the bathtub, a dripping faucet, moisture damage around the baseboards, and what appeared to be mildew or water staining near the ceiling. I also noticed areas that had not been cleaned thoroughly, including marks on the bathroom wall and residue around the bathroom door handle, which raised concerns about sanitation. As a longtime Marriott customer, I expected a higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. Although our upgrade was appreciated, the fact that several rooms were still unavailable at check-in suggested that housekeeping may have been behind.

I’m usually a big fan of Residence Inns because of their dog policy and facilities/ outdoor spaces but this one was pretty dirty and honestly the rooms needed a total renovation. Old, and dirty.

My room was dated compared to other hotels; my bathroom door would not stay closed, the TV did not connect to the PS5 properly, thr sound on the TV kept going up, the hot tub was out of commission otherwise the staff was amazing.

Check in times could be better. Facilities were a little run down and outdated.

It took over 2 HOURS for the room to be ready. The hot tub was not open, it was broken. There wasn't any luggage stands in the room.
