It was okay, nothing to rave about, kept up decent but just a style hotel and musty smell to the room.

All went well. I was switched immediately from a smoke smelling room to a freshen room. They were accommodating and helped me save by recommending the loop train and shuttle. Only thing I would say is. Breakfast must have a turkey option once pork products is out. And hotel could use some upgrading. Otherwise, decent stay for 3 days.

Beds were hard and the bedding was scratchy. There were boogers on the shower curtain. Coffee pods weren’t even the right fit for the coffee maker. The “clean” towels had dried brown crunchy stuff on them. The walls were so thin we could hear every noise in the hallway and the neighboring rooms. Printer didn’t work in the business center I was severely disappointed in this hotel and will avoid all Wingates based on our experience here.

The front desk staff (female) was not as friendly as I would expect. I was there 1hr early to drop off my bags so I could turn in rental car. They wanted 40$ to get in the room early. I said no; however, they did let me drop off my bags. If you have a car there is a parking fee at this location. My room was good and I would stay at this location again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay! A few critiques we had: the room was very cold especially at night, extra $30 was required to park our car overnight, and certain elements of breakfast (like pastries) were not replenished when used up. Overall staff was very kind and it was a nice place.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was spotless, the rooms were comfortable, and the facilities were well maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was also very convenient, making it easy to get around

The shuttle was a great added bonus. Hotel staff really nice and friendly.

My only concern was the parking fee. At $30 per night, I found it quite expensive, especially since there is enough parking available within the hotel complex. I was told the fee was introduced because, due to the hotel's proximity to Midway Airport, some travelers had historically left their vehicles there instead of using airport parking. However, the hotel already provides dashboard parking permits to guests, which could be used to distinguish authorized hotel guests from unauthorized vehicles. Enforcing parking based on those permits would seem like a more reasonable approach than charging all guests a significant nightly parking fee.

The staff were extremely accommodating

There was a slight smell to the room but that was the only complaint. Staff was nice, breakfast was serviceable, and the pool was small but clean.
