Hampton Inn by Hilton Chicago-Midway Airport

This was my first stay at Hampton Inn and I was pleasantly surprised. It began with check-in. The clerk was friendly and provided a room with a great view. The fitness center exceeded my expectations for a hotel. Compared to the fitness center at other hotels I have stayed at, this one exceeds them all. Though the breakfast offerings weren't extravagant, it was sufficient enough to curb my hunger. Benefits like free shuttle service and the many restaurants in the area also exceeded expectations. On my last day I had a late flight. The hotel held my bags, I was able to stay in the lounge area and when I needed a shuttle, they promptly requested one. All in all, it was a great stay.

The room was clean, well maintained, breakfast was good. My only issue was that the air conditioner didn’t seem to be running properly as the lobby area and other areas were very warm. As well as the air conditioner in my room. The hotel is near many eateries choices as well.

i was charged extra when i arrived for no reason, had to talk to front desk staff (that seemed under trained), to fix it. Also, the breakfast was very unappetizing.

Perfect location for an early morning flight out of Midway airport. Staff was helpful, good dining options nearby.

Location was perfect to get to the airport. Having a free shuttle to the airport was a plus. Breakfast was ok. Restaurants were within walking distance from the hotel. The hotels in the area catered to people flying in or out of Chicago. The staff were helpful.

The staff were efficient and very friendly. The fridge in our room was too cold; some of our water bottles were frozen and it was not in the freezer.

Very disappointed that when I asked for housekeeping, they said they only do it every other day. I had a medical issue where I had to stay in the room for 24 hours due to a flu like symptom and asked for the room that she needs to be changed and they were like we don’t have housekeeping today, which was ridiculous. They ended up doing it, but it was a big deal. Very disappointed in that.
