Room was very muggy. AC does not go below 70.
-
Front desk staff recommended near by/ walking distance, restaurants that are excellent for the kind of food we were looking for.

It’s time to shampoo the carpets because when you get out of the shower and then walk to your bed and then walk back to the sink in the bathroom and all you see are dark brown foot stains from your feet walking on the carpet it’s time to clean the hotel

The breakfast was $12 more than it should have been. Should have been free. No variety from day to day. And they ran out of eggs, bacon and muffins. So for $12 you could have bread, cereal and fruit. The on site laundry was really needed but it was so old it only took quarters and had no change machine. And the front desk didn’t have change available until the next day after requesting it.

Very nice hotel. I enjoyed my stay and the front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The shuttle service is a big plus.

Bed was comfortable but the pillows sucked! The bottle of soap stuck to the shower wall was falling off! And, according to the site, breakfast was free Monday-Friday! They wanted to charge me $35 for 2 breakfasts! We were there Thursday morning, so it should have been free! Parking was a joke at $30/day! No garage or covered parking! Just a great big lot! Not very happy with my choice of hotels! Will never stay there again!

The property was clean the staff tha4 cleaned and worked in the food area excellent. The staff that checked you in the room the manager that decided to charge your card for 4 different amounts a day before you checked out while you were in downtown Chicago awful. The staff that corrected it excellent.

The hotel was a fine place to stay, however, food choices are very limited in the immediate area. The hotel serves a breakfast but it is a typical self-serve buffet of not particularly high quality. Dinner options are also very limited.
-
Staff was pleasant but also charged me twice, in which I used an outside vendor, so it was difficult to resolve.

We missed a connecting flight in Chicago due to airline delays, and booked one of two rooms remaining at the Hilton Garden Inn at Midway. We paid a whopping $330 for one night; we arrived at about 11 pm and left at 6 am the next morning to catch an early am flight. One of our kids slept on the floor because the hotel said it “doesn’t do” roll-away beds. The woman behind the desk refused to help us brainstorm a solution and simply shrugged, saying that’s not how we do things here. No cot, no nothing. Interestingly, this is the first time we have encountered this lack of willingness to accommodate at this price point. Needless to say, we felt disinclined to pay well over $600 for two rooms for one night and yet this is what you will have to do if you are not a family of four.

Excellent service!

Parking is $30 a night. Breakfast is $16. The quality was not worth the price.
