Larkspur Landing Extended Stay Suites Bellevue

Check in was a breeze, staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit dated but clean. The property is quiet considering its proximity to the highway. Nice to have a small kitchen setup, however the fridge was super loud when it cycled on. I ended up turning off the fridge so I could sleep through the night. The cookies were wonderful and the take-away breakfast was adequate, with the basics such as cereal, juices, yogurt, individually wrapped muffins, bagels, waffles, etc. For the price I would stay here again.

I liked the room, but not some of the amenities. Wasn’t able to control the a/c through the thermostat or directly from the a/c unit. The ironing board was bent, had to place the iron on a table before maneuvering my cloth for the next position. And, the refrigerator was quite noisy — very noticeable at night when everything else is off.

Breakfast was decent. Only some of the front desk staff were friendly. Parking charges could have been made complimentary. Nice that the laundry room facilities were complimentary.

Our stay was fine.

This is not a great place to stay. The owners have clearly failed to invest in upkeep and amenities. On arrival we found water pouring through the ceiling in the arrival area - in two different places! - because the laundry room upstairs had flooded. You had to slosh through water to get to the elevators. Throughout the property wallpaper was peeling, paint was scuffed, elevators were glacially slow, lighting was mediocre, the room cards repeatedly needed re-keying, the fitness room was minimal, and some of the staff were less than friendly. In the room, there was a bedstand on only one side of the bed (I've never seen that), which led to us dubbing this place "the one-night-stand-hotel." Pretty sad experience.

And the property is fairly quiet, even though it is close to the interstate.

More than enough for a such price, yes it’s old and location not the best, but it will do the job.

My room was definitely 2-star in terms of cleanliness and it looked like the bathroom had undergone some very sloppy repairs. The $15+tax per night parking charge feels very nickel and dimey. Unfortunately, there's nothing nearby that is very walkable (Safeway + CVS about a mile away) and doesn't feel particularly safe to take a stroll by yourself. Be aware.
