The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was pretty fair, with several choices. This hotel is well located for just about anything you'd wish to do in Bellingham. I found it very quiet, the room spacious and clean.

Have to say, and taking all in consideration, if you advertise a pool and workout room and they aren't operating , and haven't been , they shouldn't be on your website . Some people book based on those. Everything else was there , breakfast etc. I do apriciate that I was able to change rooms 3 times , altho had to pay more . We did at booking ask for the jetted tub tho. Anyhow bed was great clean sheets and clean towels . Jetted tub was great , I'm thankfully . Even For a budget room , could have been cleaner.

Location Room had a door that was awful to open and close was afraid we would get stuck in there. We were there from Monday night to Friday afternoon. During are stay only maid service we got was clean towels and a roll of toilet paper and a couple of coffee’s.Pool was not available again last time we stayed there a year or two , it wasn’t available. For years we stayed there and enjoyed are stay this was so bad will not return. It really is going downhill.

The waffles were good. The carpets were filthy. Super sticky. The paint job was terrible, which is normal wear and tear but it just gave off an old and dirty vibe throughout. The AC made a super loud sound all night. Not sure how normal that is, but light sleepers might have a hard time falling asleep. I was VERY tired so I conked out. Breakfast was meh. The coffee was watered down, the eggs were powdered. The waffles saved breakfast for me. We also called ahead to see if we can check-in a bit early, and the woman on the phone offered us check-in two hours earlier than usual. Once arrived, the male manager was so rude and immediately shut us down. We went shopping to kill two hours and came back to check-in 15mins early. We stayed there because we saw online that it had a pool. After check-in, we located the pool for use later, and come to find out that it was closed for maintenance. Not once was this mentioned by staff.

We chose it because of indoor pool/hot tub and fitness room, none of which were operational.
-
Below standard, highly priced stay
-
didn’t interact with staff beyond the check in process. mislead by reviews, there was painters tape everywhere, the whole place smells like tobacco, provided toiletries were dirty.

The location is near the mall, it was quiet. The room was large and had space for my grandson to play in. The lobby is huge and has a nice seating area. The pool was closed for maintenance- which was the only reason we chose to book at this hotel. Booked a room with a pull out for a third person and there was no bedding for the pull out. The shampoo was empty, the light bulb was missing from one of the bedside lamps. There were crumbs and change on the floor by the bed. The fridge was unplugged, the ice machine wasn't working. The elevator is sketchy- there is a note to tell you how to get the doors to work if the get stuck. The second story window has no screen or security latches- upon looking from outside the third story looks to be the same. The black out curtain looks like a starry night sky in the daylight. No coffee for the coffee maker. All in all a very disappointing stay.

Major need of updating required. Cheap fixes like MDF particular board baseboards used in bathroom where only wood should be used. Water has swelled them and mould present. Shower didn't drain during shower. Masking tape on doors painted two years ago still present.
-
Breakfast was very disappointing Showers are of a poor design, water goes all over the floor . Tap in the room 305 needs tightening.

The day I checked in pool and gym were out of order. Stairwells are gross. Front desk very nice and helpful.

The sheets were nice, as were the pillows. They provided Starbucks coffee pods for the Keurig. I didn't eat breakfast but they had some options. The room and bathroom were gross. It looked like they replaced some things but then didn't clean or paint other things. The carpet was stained, the tub surround had a lot of mold in the grout, and the tub was stained. The cord for the blow dryer had about 10 years of dust/funk. When I lifted to corner of the mattress cover (I was worried about bugs), there was a huge brown stain on the corner of the mattress. Ughghgh.... I ended up putting the tub mat inside the tub while showering bc I didn't want to get athlete's foot. Seriously, the bathroom is in desperate need of a proper bleaching. Also, the shower head was not in the middle of the wall over the tub and the spray was mostly directed at the wall, so I had to wedge a washcloth in the holder to get it to point toward the middle if the shower. The CEO of Comfort Inn should be forced to spend a night in the room we stayed in. I'm so glad we only booked one night. Way overpriced for a low quality and dirty room.
