Wingate by Wyndham Bellingham Heritage Inn

Room was very clean, staff was excellent, the bed was extremely comfortable and the hotel was close to I-5. If ever back in the area would certainly plan on staying there.

One package of sugar had already been opened and was still left on the kitchen table. In addition, there was a bath towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. This makes me question whether the housekeeping staff actually cleaned the room.

I would not recommend this hotel. We went to check in at 2:30PM and there was no one around the front desk or lobby that my husband could see. He walked outside the property and still didn’t see anyone for 15 mins. When he finally was able to find someone they advised us our room wasn’t ready for check in yet and to come back…. (Check in time is 3PM so we weren’t that far off) The room we stayed in was very dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned for a very long time. It was very dusty everywhere, and the surfaces of the bedside table had staines on it. The Bathroom had 1 towel and it was also dusty and dirty. The outdoor pool was Un-heated and the hot tub was lukewarm/cold. There was no pool towels near the pool. The crazy thing is that there was hardly a person staying at that hotel so I’m not sure why the staff isn’t more prepared for quests. One last thing that is a safety issue is that the outdoor stairs walking up to the 2nd level are rotting and spongy. I thought that we would break through. Upon checkout, I emailed the hotel about our poor experience and got nothing, absolutely no email back. I would highly recommend not staying here.

Room was great. Need a fan only option on the heater. Room air got stagnant.

It's okay. Clean room, comfortable bed, pretty good shower. Staff is completely disengaged from the notion of "the hospitality industry" and the breakfast is just awful. Stay here if all you need is sleep and a shower.

The room was great. Very comfortable. Bed and such great. Breakfast not very good but staff was nice. Nothing much nutritious but hey it’s free.

Outdoor pool was not heated and towels not often replenished. Hot tub jets didn’t work. Hotel was clean enough, but not high quality. Staff was nice.

Very well maintained motel, clean room, comfortable bed and good basic amenities. Breakfast was fine. Highly recommend for a good budget stay!

Broken mirror in bathroom, broken countertop under mirror. The bathroom smelled of mold, and the grout in the shower looked disgusting. My bed sheet smelled of women's perfume, and there was a lipstick stain on it - disgusting. Because I booked with Expedia (which I will NEVER do again), I was not offered a refund - at all. Disgusted with the entire process and everyone involved. Spoke with an Expedia rep who promised she would have her manager call me - no call ever came. Zero stars for both!

Breakfast was sub standard. The eggs were cold and hard. The oatmeal was watery. There was no cold water available. No hot chocolate packets. The fruit is small and not very appealing apples and oranges. ice machine in our building was broken. The lamp switches were sometimes not operational. The TV remote control functions were only partly available. They have not kept up on their maintenance.

While the stay was fine. Plenty of towels shampoo if needed. Do be aware that if you lose a key card you will be charged $5.00. I used to be a flight attendant I’ve travelled all over and never have been told I would for LOSS OF A KEY Card. It was also pretty rude the way the front Desk person handled it. Must be a nice way to supplement there revenue is all I can figure. Why would you spoil an otherwise possible return customers experience with such a petty charge.
