Sugarloaf Mt Motel

Room was clean. Front desk guy wasn't very happy but did make him laugh to lighten his mood.

Check in staff were slow and not at all friendly. The breakfast was terable. Most food items were out and very slow to inadequate refill.

We needed a place to stay for the night while traveling and the Sugarloaf was the perfect place we found to spend a restful night. Highly recommend.

The room we stayed in had sticky carpet that felt gross if you don’t have shoes on. We also found a random sock that 100% was not ours stuffed in the bed. The beds were very uncomfortable.

Check in was good. Breakfast was good and well stocked. Room was clean. Plenty of parking and close to where I was attending a concert. The 76 gas station is right there in the parking lot making it convenient to gas up before leaving.

I would have rated everything excellent except there were no grab bars in the tub shower, and the tub bottom was a little slippery.

Clean room. Small issue at checkin but was resolved. Husband hated the bed as it is pretty hard. Breakfast options were ok. Maybe if we got there before 9am there would have been more options.

Very clean room and nice pool area

This was a quick overnight stay while traveling through Bend. Check in was easy, kids loved the pool and we were able to run by the nearby stores and grab food from across the way. Beds were comfy and room was clean. Worked for this mama traveling alone with two littles.

The web site bills it as pet-friendly, I chose them specifically because I had a dog. But when I got there, I found I was supposed to say in advance I had a pet, as they had a limited number of rooms for pets. To be fair, this was through Expedia, but it seems like this could have been a little clearer. I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for someone who had the ability to assign me a pet room. The mattress was not the greatest, but everything else was fine. The location was perfect for my needs. With knowledge about advance notice for dogs, I'd be happy to come back.

The breakfast was very minimal very low end. We’ve only ate there once and went out and paid the restaurant the rest of the time. Completely understaffed there was nobody at the front desk. They had a reservations wrong. We had to argue about what we paid for I’ll never stay there again.

The fire alarm went off on the first night then had to change rooms as water was turn off to the building.

The check in staff was very nice. The $35 a night for a dog in a dated facility with no carpeting was ridiculous. The breakfast was actually worse than what you would expect for one included in the room cost. The "eggs" neither looked or tasted remotely like an egg and the sausage was only slightly better. The coffee was barely warm. I ended up eating the packaged oat meal.

Convenient

Our room was very dirty, gap under door blew dirt, leaves & floor showed where water has come in. Wi-Fi password didn’t work, tv & remote didn’t work, & leaf or bug found between the sheets! I have pictures & video if you want to see proof. Will never stay there again!

Great renovated old main highway motel with updated amenities and close drive to downtown. Highly recommend.
