Red Lion Inn & Suites Deschutes River Bend

Room was nice and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was good.

I made a reservation but I couldn’t check in because I’m not 21.

The wall mounted bed table had ants on it when I came in. Later when I put my phone and charger on it there were more ants. I wiped it down with tissues and found more ants underneath. The bedsheet was all crumpled up like someone had already slept on it. The breakfast was sparce and they did not have any decaf coffee. I was rather disappointed for a Red Lion Inn and would probably try to find a different place to stay in Bend.

The shower leaked onto the flooring, their rooms have no closets, they have 2 drawers and 1 they stored their iron and hangers so we couldn’t use. The walls are very thin which makes it difficult to sleep. The frig didn’t work we didn’t have cold water the next day for our outing. The breakfast wasn’t very good, the hash browns were rubbery couldn’t eat. The pool could have been cleaner and we had to ask for the towels to be stocked in the middle of a hot day. Very disappointing we won’t be staying there again.

My comforter was stained with something red like cool aid or candy, or blood. I called the front seat and they said they would bring me a new one. They did not offer to move rooms nor did they offer to change the bedding. About 45min later they brought me some new bedding. When I looked at what the brought it was only sheets, no comforter. When I asked for a comforter the lady said it’s there with the sheets with an attitude. I explained that no, it’s only sheets. She gave a big sigh and said “I’ll see if I can find one”. 30min later she came back with a polyester brown blanket that had so much static it would not lay flat. She said she couldn’t find a comforter. At this point I was fed up and said fine. The room was not clean, the sink drained VERY slow, the door didn’t shut flush, and the service was poor at best. I travel a lot for work and pleasure, I would not stay here again, and I would never recommend staying at this place. All bad.

Room was really clean and ample places for my dogs to doo their business.

Convenient location for me. Your basic standard motel with free parking - exactly what you would hope for a well maintained property - definitely would stay again.

Room was crawling with ants. Bathroom was super crusty and in need of a remodel. Wiped a water spill up on the floor with a towel and it was black with dirt. Don’t think the floor ever gets actually wiped up. Pretty gross to say the least. Staff was friendly. Bed seemed clean. Insanely expensive for a dated motel room. Surely not “Inn and Suites”. I mean, give me a break.

Our assigned room was occupied! TV didn't work.

Pool was great, parking was horrible, staff were awesome!

Property was fine just a bit small pool could use a hot tub

Clean,inexpensive and had breakfast.... everything I was looking for.

The staff is very helpful and patient. Rooms were nice.

Breakfast was good. Pool was nice. Rooms were clean and quiet despite being on a busy street. Close to everything in Bend.
