Red Lion Inn & Suites Deschutes River Bend

Room was clean, comfortable and the property location was good.

Very dissatisfied that there was not a hot tub. The images online show a hot tub which was one of the deciding factors in booking the red lion.

Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool clean and good temperature.

Let me first say that the staff was incredibly friendly, checking in and out was a breeze. The room was very clean. However, if you are a light sleeper, I suggest asking for a top floor room no where near the pool. The walls are thin and everything echos, people were noisy almost all night. Being able to check out at noon was the only saving grace for that.

I reserved a room at a hotel in Bend, Oregon through Expedia. I had a medical procedure planned for the following morning. The procedure time was changed to the afternoon and there was no need for me to stay at the hotel. I was expected to arrive at the hospital at 8am. It is a 4 hour drive from my house. I would have had to leave no later than 4am. to arrive on time. Since the time was changed, I decided to sleep at home as I would not have to leave until ~ 9am due to the change in the procedure time. I called the hotel to explain the changes and to cancel my reservation. The reservation stated 24 hours are needed for cancellation. I was driving to the hotel when I received the information of the change in time for my procedure. Hotel employee was appropriate and informed me since the cancellation was not 24 hour prior to my stay, I will be charged for the room. And I was charged the full amount. I am sorry Expedia is all about the money. I will no longer use Expedia for hotel reservations.

Clean place for a family to spend a night or two to explore Bend. Simple but filling breakfast option and people in general are more courteous in Oregon compared to California.

Disappointed, wanted to take a bath, but water did not get hotter than lukewarm. My husband tried to take. Shower in the morning and same problem. Cold shower. Also air con unit was to loud and didn’t sleep well. Sorry.

Nice breakfast, really nice breakfast room, kids liked the pool.

Very clean room, pet friendly, friendly staff. Would recommend.

Just spruce up the landscaping some what and a little more varieties for breakfast, otherwise clean rooms 👌

This hotel is old and run down. The walls are thin. One can hear "everything" in the next room. The breakfast was terrible. If you want a good nights sleep, don't stay here.

I didn't have hot water this morning when I took a shower.

The front desk staff was fantastic. The shower was cool to lukewarm. The room was a little dated but very clean. Traffic noise is loud so I’m happy I brought a white noise machine. Location is ideal.
