Came to Bend for a wedding Stayed here two nights. The staff was incredibly helpful and let us store our bags the last day after we checked out for a couple hours. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and great shower. Would totally stay again!

You get what you pay for. The sheets were dirty with stains. We found old food in the fridge.

Good family business, fair price

This was just an okay hotel. The staff was great and it was close to the very cute downtown area. The room and property could use a good cleaning. For the price, I might stay again.

I checked in and was given a key to a room. When I entered the room, I noticed a very strong and unpleasant odor. I went back down to the front desk and asked for another room. I was given the key to the room next door to the first, and it had the same unpleasant odor. The man who was at the front desk came up to check the first room as I was entering the second room, and when I came back out of the room, he said that the room was ok, it was just the cleaning product that they used. I told him that I would not be able to stay in a room with such an unpleasant smell. They refused to refund my money.

The Dunes Motel is a great place for a stopover in Bend. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable.

Dirty/stained sheets. Don't need to add much more after that.

Although the property was located away from the freeway, the main street in front of the property was very busy with traffic all night. Additionally, the windows are not sealed well, so much of that traffic noise makes its way into the room.

What a great little place! Staff was so super nice and friendly! Room was lovely, clean and comfy, and the fridge, microwave, and coffee pot (with coffee and all the fixings) was just an amazing extra. Walkable to al the restaurants and downtown shopping and water too.

staff were excellent Lotion dispenser ran out

This was an okay place to stay for one night. The rooms were very small and we had a hard time finding a spot for our luggage and a place to lay stuff out. Walls were thinner and it was on a busy street - but leaving AC/fan running all night drowned it out. I just felt the price was exorbitant and a little ridiculous. I know it’s “the season” but to pay these prices for a small motor motel with no amenities is nothing short of price gouging.

perfect for what we needed and at a reasonable price !
-
The front desk clerk, unprompted and right from the get go told me he had not had a day off in a long time and it would be another 2 weeks until he day be working another
-
Cost was reasonable Lots of traffic noise, outside of room on landings and walkaways was not clean/had trash, sketchy parking.
-
Basic place to stay when you are looking last minute. Not extras but it was for the most part clean and remodeled. Would stay again!

It is a older motel but they have redone the rooms they are nicely done very friendly staff

Staff was friendly and helpful, though honestly, we didn't need for anything and didn't have to make much use of their services. The room was immaculate. It is an older motel, so there is natural wear and tear, but you can tell that they take great care of the property and have made improvements (ample outlets and places to plug in chargers easily within reach, updated smart tvs with loads of channels/apps, environmentally sensitive toiletries, ambient lighting). We were put in a room on the second floor facing away from traffic, which was great. Street noise was not an issue. You can hear other motel occupants if they are being particularly loud. I recommend ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise. The property is at the intersection of two busy streets - I recommend entering/exiting the parking lot from the quieter side street to the west of the lot.

The room was clean. There was no safety bar however to help keep the window from opening too far which would have been useful on the warm night we had. And the room was very noisy with the street noise until it quieted down after midnight.
