Nice facilities for a good price

Super fast and easy check-in and checkout. Parking lot was adequate. The room was spacious and clean, and the refrigerator kept everything really cold. The breakfast offerings were good, with something for everyone, except meat.

When we checked in the first room we were given had unexceptible issues (it was not cleaned the clothes rack was on the floor, the iron board was leaning against the wall and not hung on the wall because the hangers were missing) and we went to the desk and addressed the issues with Lady in charge (who was not who we checked in with). She promply offered us a different room which we accepted and it was prepared for guests. I also took pictures of the previous room and gave them to the Lady at the desk. I was informed we would get a refund for the room and upon departure I was informed our receipt would be emailed to us and the individual. this has not happened.

I knew not to expect much but I was still disappointed. One of the two staff at the counter when I checked in was obviously suffering from drug addiction (Nashing teeth, constantly scratching, couldn't stand still, had no focus....). Both staff members blamed a slow computer system for a delayed check-in but I have my doubts. The parking lot was very busy late into the evening (It did not feel like the traffic was all related to guests ???). So, didn't have the greatest confidence my vehicle was safe. Then, there was the noise and activity inside the building late into the night. People up and down the halls, loud neighboring rooms. (Not that the hotel can do much about unruly guests ... except I guess price out those types of people...). Complimentary breakfast ... Don't waste your time! Everything had a funny taste, it could have just been me but, I can usually choke down something.... Nope! I guess one upside was, it rained a little and I didn't get wet.

I don’t normally write reviews because the overall ratings to pick a hotel are normally accurate but this one was not for us.

Receptionist appeared to be under the influence of drugs, the carpets in the hallways were filthy and hadn't been vacuumed in days. There was trash in the hallways and an over powering smell of wet dogs everywhere. The screen on the room window was hanging off, outside light right outside window shone in all night, people parking in undesignated spots meant disabled bays were unavailable. Receptionist was unhelpful in putting this right. Couldn't bring myself to stay for breakfast based on cleanliness of the building. Avoid at all costs.

Phone was unplugged, behind the dresser/fridge/cabinet. Shower head needed to be replaced-water everywhere. NO hair dryer. I dropped a few coins, and used phone flashlight to look under the bed for them. WHAT a MISTAKE. OH WOW!! Small plastic bag was the only option to secure ice from the ice machine. NO plastic bucket like most places. Comfort chair in the corner was a very filthy mess.. like I said, 'first look' clean. this will probably be our last windham stay..

Very clean room and friendly staff

Bed was comfortable. Killed big bug in bathroom. Found pair glasses on floor by bed - not mine! Something fell behind big dresser (one with refrigerator) so pulled out to find bag cat treats (not mine) and needed cleaning. Also mattress on top of box spring was moved forward and was dirt there! Think cleaners should clean a little better. Breakfast wasn’t greatest. Price was right tho! People at check in were friendly.

It was fine for one night. Everything was pretty much as expected for this chain.

The place as a whole was great. There was no switch for the exhaust fan in bathroom. The elevator floor was dirty. The breakfast was above average with scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits or cold cereal.

Easy check in. Room was near the elevator as requested. Staff was very friendly. We also had a dog with us. Very accommodating! I'd stay there again.

Property was ok however the pictures made it look more updated than it was in reality. Also the breakfast was not as it appeared. Would stay again if the price was cheaper for what it was.

Was given a handicapped room with a strange bathroom setup and a shower head that had to be handheld. The room smelled awful when we first walking in, and upon close inspection you could see that nothing was properly cleaned. The breakfast was horrible and it was the first time at any property that I worried about food sanitation. The milk used for the cereal was sitting out the whole time during breakfast hours without even sitting in ice. The staff were all dressed in shorts which seemed very unprofessional and maybe too casual. Don’t know what I was expecting from a Super 8, but I expected better than what I experienced. It felt gross staying there and I’ve been to many different properties in my years of travel. Will never go back.
