Bismarck Hotel and Conference Center

Back from road trip staying in 6 different hotels. This property was interesting. Probably once a 5 star hotel, it is large, well built w/ conference rooms and a building saying "Ballroom". Lobby has sign sayig "Pardon our construction" but does not make up for what I saw and smelled. Used elevator when chcking in, the smell of waste was so bad we used the steps thereafter. Our floor was piled up w/ old furniture from the rooms, carpet had a bad spot taped w/ what looked like duct tape. Outside property had weeds and piles of rotting boards piled up near entrances. The parking lots were packed both evenings so they had to be making money. Simple fixes could have made a big difference starting w/ horrific smell near elevators. Room was old but adequate. This place could be so much more.

Room was spacious. Jet tub worked great. Bed was very comfortable. Will return in the future for small getaway vacations.

New clean room ! Staff amazing

The pool

Terrific staff, centrally located!

My car was broken into in the parking lot.

Pool was very cold and pool area run down. Rooms are run down and very weird people around.

Despite being in the middle of a remodel the room was clean and comfortable. The pool flooring needs to be updated, but was otherwise amazing!

Maintained. The pool area/water park is great fun for the family. Breakfast was nice and helpful people bringing extra utensils It’s a great place to stay and when the remodel is complete with be an amazing place to stay

We had a bad experience coming into Bismarck from the airport. A lot of weird construction, I thought the hair dryer was going to catch fire

Was under construction in hallways and room. No smoke detector. Deadbolt did not work, and Maintenance had to remove door plate and frame plate. No temperature setting on air conditioner. Shuttle driver was great.

The bed was so comfortable, staff was friendly!

Very clean, large hotel. It was undergoing renovations and some parts of the hotel were not in use. Very comfortable beds, breakfast was good and the location just off the Bismarck Expressway was ideal.

Nothing special about this property.

We loved our room and balcony and enjoyed the stay.

Couldn’t rent the room I booked cause my card has reached limit and struggling to get a refund

The room smelled musty, the furniture was terribly scuffed and not well taken care of. The toilet was very low to the ground that made it difficult for someone in their 3rd trimester to use the bathroom. The tub was not clean and was in need of repairs on the walls. The bathroom sink leaked underneath all over the floor causing a major slip hazard if we didn't noticen right away. We also paid for the king sized bed and were given a room on the ground floor with 2 queen beds. We will not be staying here ever again or recommending anyone stay here.

The cleaning staff said they were out of wash cloths and told us to get them from the office later.
