Comfort Inn Bismarck

The smaller waterslide was great for my 8yo. The pool area was dirty and the shallow pool next to the waterslide had a lot of dirt on the bottom of the pool. We didn’t use the other section of the pool area, but the “waterpark” splash pad area was not functioning. For our room, the extra lock wouldn’t stay closed, and the shower curtain rod was crooked, causing the shower curtain to slide and open up. The bathroom door was badly scratched and warped. Breakfast was a good selection. The waterslide saved the trip.

My kids absolutely loved the pool and slides, and the cleanliness of the pool area was a plus. It was very affordable, friendly staff and comfortable room. Nothing fancy, but was a nice stay for the night.

Didn't get to try it The guy at night checking in was cool the person in the morning wasn't the nicest! Couple of bugs in the bathroom and some sort of brown stuff sitting on the floor by the the bathroom. I have had worse days at other places tho

AC's weren't keeping up during the daylight. Front desk guy was very helpful.

Room was right across from pool and kids were screaming. Could hear in room. Kids were running and misusing slides, was unsafe for my child and too loud.

Location Old and rundown, staff were miserable, and no where to be found for checkout.

The rooms were clean and it was nice to have two queen beds and a couch in room. The water slides are a nice touch as well. The front desk was friendly as well and made check in easy. That the pool room did not have towels stocked. Also I had a housekeeper walk in my room without knocking but thankfully she was just in time to bring towels to us because I needed a shower. Also I think the breakfast presentation could have been better.

While it was clean everything was so worn and in poor condition. The pool area obviously was a hit with the kids, but not worth the hotel stay. Staff was also very short and not welcoming. Find a different place even if it means no slide.

The facility is an older facility but was very neat, clean and the waterslides (2) were a big hit. It’s very close to a lot of things. Staff was great, breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast. Rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but very nice. Parking is limited up front and fills quickly.

Nice hotel. Pool was great. Doors need to be painted and chairs in breakfast room should be replaced. No exhaust in the bathroom.

I forgot about incidentals and that took 100$ out of my pocketbook. This was extra money that I could have used for food and play with my children. Comfort suites took that $100 immediately but upon check out it was returned to my checking ASAP. I’m still waiting for the return of my incidentals fee.

The breakfast was ok, but there was no one keeping the food stocked. The place was busy and you had to wait until someone brought food out. Also, we asked for clean wash cloths and hand towels, and to empty the trash can. The dirty towels were on the floor next to the trash can, but were not picked up. Who empties the trash and leaves the dirty stuff on the floor? We had to go and ask for clean lines. Finally, I asked for a receipt. The desk help would not give me one, but would email me one. I don’t think she wanted to be bothered.

Location. Shower had lots of hot water. Hair dryer was easy to access and was mounted to the wall. Drop ceiling frame rusted over shower. Throw pillows had stains on them. Pull out couch mattress desperately needs to be replaced was extremely difficult to sleep on it was so uncomfortable. Easily felt the sofa bed frame through the mattress. Not enough bath towels for the number of guests the room is for. Thin flimsy blanket for the person on the pull out couch. Air conditioner did not adequately cool the room during the night. Dresser drawers were literally broken and unusable.

The check in took over 10 minutes, the hot tub was not working, the doors, chairs etc. were functional but were very worn and should have been replaced or at least refinished as they looked terrible. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good but the employee who was supposed to take care of things, was not doing that. People had to go to the front desk to have them locate the employee whenever food, coffee etc. ran out.
