MainStay Suites Bismarck

We stayed there for the water slide and pool. It’s so run down now and it really needs a good renovation

There was no one at the front desk when I was trying to leave at 4am for the airport and no one when I checked back in at midnight after my flight. Had to go to the neighboring hotel to check in

Front desk wasn’t staffed at check-in or checkout. I had to call staff from a neighboring affiliated property to check in. There were trash bags in the hallways, common areas smelled like pot smoke, coffee machine didn’t work.

I felt private and peaceful! All I needed was available. room coffee and kitchen center. breakfast in connected hotel. pool in adjoining hotel. table for lunch in hotel common space.

Location Front Desk. Guy that worked on 3/10 literally was on his phone the entire time, Disrespectful when talking to him and never followed through with requests. We had to track down a cleaning lady ourselves. He shouldn't have a job.

Pool The desk clerk never informed us that breakfast was available I heard him telling another customer that that was not that kind of hotel later I was told by the driver that breakfast was served on the other side of the hotel which is comfort inn.

The staff was friendly and the rate was reasonable. First we were given a double queen room when we booked a king but the staff fixed that quick. The king room we got into was not the cleanest. There was trash left on the table by phone, there was a medicine wrapper on the floor by the nightstand closest to the window and a fake finger nail in the bathroom by the toilet. There was also a pink stain on the comforter that I am hoping was fingernail polish. Bed was also hard as a rock.

The lady on the front desk, for check-in, was very friendly and helpful. We had the disabled access room, and it was ideal for my needs. Very roomy and a large bathroom. It's hard to find fault with the hotel, but if I was to pick one thing, it would be the lack of Disabled parking.

Staff was very friendly despite the fact that their computer system was down at the time. Clean rooms, great location. Computer system was down. So we had to wait to get into our room for a out a half and hour. Our room didn't gave a shower curtain or shampoo and conditioner. But I was promptly taken care if by the front desk .

clean, friendly staff & loved the full fridge. the whole reason I had chose this hotel was for the kid amenities for the pool. they were down, the pool was too cold for my 10month old son…

no clean towels No silverware in the bragged up room kitchen, no place to eat in room anyway the whole room was run down Multiple staff was asked for a shower curtain and clean towels ( which finally arrived about 7:30 pm)
