Modern Overnight staff incredibly rude. Unhelpful. Said things like “the new owners won’t let me do anything”, “I’m not taking blame for housekeeping’s mistake”. “There’s nothing I can do”. Another guest saw the exchange and shared with me he was incredibly rude to them too. Stay was 9/16

Room had a musty smell. Like the carpet was just cleaned. The bed was made but I’m not sure they were clean sheets! Bedding was very wrinkly, looked like someone had been on the bed. But I don’t know.

The room was easily booked, very clean and comfortable.

The room was clean. I had come in later in the day 8:00. Single woman . Put on first floor and right next to the lobby. Was I too late that this was the only room left? Room was completely dark. Room temp was set at 62. Freezing! Strange odor in the room.. it seemed as good intentions meant but was very overwhelming. Did not do the free breakfast.

This is an older hotel which could use some updating- especially in the pool area. Breakfast was boring and very basic. Staff was nice.
