The hotel charges a resort fee on top of your hotel bill. I booked with Hotel .com and got one price the hotel added additional fees

No housekeeping all weekend. Had to call and ask for extra towels twice.

Everything was great except the shower was terrible no water pressure and no hot water room 820

We enjoyed our stay and we WOULD choose the hotel again...but - When we got there we were told we couldn't check in until 5:00 pm because housekeeping was behind and truck just got there with clean sheets. That was a new one. Our room only had 2 hangers, when I tried to call for more, I couldn't get anyone to answer, I guess they were still folding sheets. I did find a housekeeping manager in the hall and asked for more - "this room has 6 so I can give you 2 of theirs" they most have a hanger shortage. It wasn't an issue for us but they do not do any housekeeping unless you request it during your visit. I only found this out after asking the front desk for a do not disturb door hanger, because again no one answered the phone. I did have another guest tell me when they do answer the phone you are talking to someone NOT at the property, if they can't answer you they transfer you to the property but that guest didn't get anyone to pick up either. The hotel and location worked great for us exploring Idaho Springs and surrounding areas, just a few different experiences that I will expect for future stays.

OK stay. Broken coffee maker. Only two towels for a three-night stay.

Black Hawk is okay if all you want to do is gamble and eat a decent burger. The issue I had was the hotel bathroom at the Horseshoe. The morning after I slept there (Room 645), I was in the shower and noticed that the granite/stone seat had cracks in the top. I looked closer and the cracks had red stained in them. It looked like someone fell in the shower and bled out.

The hotel was great. Only complaint was the ice machine was out of order--but I was able to go up one floor and use that ice machine.

The hotel was nice. I arrived at the hotel 2 hrs early, but the staff wouldn’t even offer for me to check in early. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

No microwaves & they won’t heat up food in in-house restaurant where U bought your meal, thoughtless

Beautiful casino floor! Easy to unload bags from parking garage up to floor via elevator!

There was no check in from housekeeping to see if I needed anything. I ran out of the water. I would have liked to have more of that. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall. The vending machine on my floor was hard to use. I don't like the fact you have to pay 2.00 to take your food to the room. My trash was overflowing and since no housekeeping, it just built up. Now I did like my room on the top floor. The casino, even though I lost all my money that I use for gambling, it was nice. The atmosphere was great and having TV's on was great. The staff at check in was great. The food was good, but expensive.
