Very helpful staff the manger has been working with me now for a few weeks I've been here. I haven't had any complaints other then the fact. That all the staff including the hospitality, front desk staff and all the maids and the maintenance man and the hotel manager. Have been so very kind to myself and my wife. They have been so very helpfull understanding and compassionate to myself and my Darling Wifey. As we have been staying here now for a few weeks. It's been very STRESSFUL AS WE ARE LIVING DAY TO DAY SOMETIMES AND EVEN THO WE ARE FACING EXTREME STRESS AND FEAR OF BEING HOMELESS. AS SOMETIMES IT TAKES A HOUR OR MORE TO FIND THE FUNDS TO MAKE THE BOOKING FOR OUR ROOM. BUT THE MANGER AND ALL THE STAFF HAVE BEEN VERY ACCOMMODATING AND HAVE WORKED WITH MY FAMILY. SO I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE A PAUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE BEAUTIFUL AND VERY REFLECTION OF WHAT YOUR EXPECTATIONS WOULD BE IN REGARDS TO. THE STAFF HERE TRULY ARE THE GOLD STANDERS OF WHAT EVERY HOTEL AND HOSPITALITY EMPLOYEES SHOULD REFLECT THESE EMPLOYEES HERE AT THE COMFORT INN BLOOMINGTON. I truly would like to say that all the staff here have been so friendly kind understanding and passionate and showen even compassion to. Not only us as customers, But they have TOP CLASS PROFESSIONALSKINDNESSBHllllll LPTEL STAFF

Awful, old and falling apart, ridiculous for the price

We had a nice stay the staff was great the restaurant within the property was great too. They had some construction going on when we stayed that caused some noise in the morning hours but we were traveling every day so didn’t cause any issues for us! The beds were very comfortable! Sleep well! They were remodeling the property during our stay as well so some rooms were upgraded and some still needed attention! All in all a very good stay! We were there 5 days.

The room was clean but I saw large clumps of hair behind the dresser with the TV on top of it. Staff was friendly and accomodating. I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that. However the coffee in the room was good as long as I used the liquid creamer from the lobby. The powdered stuff wasn't good at all. Bring your own washcloth and ask for liquid creamer if that's your thing. There's only powdered creamer in the room. The airport shuttle was easy to set up. Call the front desk and give them your cell number. They will send you a link to click on once you've landed. The recording on the hotel phone suggests a website but it's barely clear enough to understand the name of the link...dragme...dropme...I have no idea so I hung up and called back to get a live person. They need to rerecord it and speak slowly spelling out the link.

The staff was great. The breakfast was very sad. Watery scrambled eggs and very few options. The room was very dated. The sofa sleeper's mattress was very disgusting.

Solid place to stay

This hotel is very tired. My room was clean, but really needed a deep cleaning. For the price I guess you could look past some of the issues of an older hotel. The staff was great, very efficient and friendly. The free breakfast was good, nice variety with the bonus of eggs and sausage which you don’t normally see with free breakfast. At least that area was in good shape. The indoor pool was nice, but they were doing some remodeling. Wi-Fi worked well and had no problems with it. The outside grounds and parking lot were much to be desired, the grounds were unkept and the parking lot was terribly. But like I said before for the price you can look past these problems.

The hallway smells smoke and the airport shuttle was late. Had to take an Uber so I don’t miss my flight

We loved our stay for the most part. I would have given everything 5 stars but the pool closure (for cleaning) was not communicated and was then not opened when we were told would be. This led to a disappointed kiddo which is who the entire trip was for.
-
From shuttle to the hotel, staff and property exceeded expectations. Polite staff clean property, prompt and polite shuttle driver. Thank you.

Friendly staff, clean property, good breakfast!

The airport shuttle was very convenient to and from the airport and Mall of America. Our room wasn’t clean during the time we stayed. The property was well maintained. The pool room wasn’t working when we stayed.

I took my daughter and her friend from 3 hrs. away to visit the cities - it was her 18th birthday. I booked this hotel specifically for the pool and the proximity to the mall. I asked about pool hours on the phone before even checking in and asked about the location of the pool upon check-in. At NO POINT was there a mention of the pool being out of commission. After it was discovered it was closed (the sign said for the day, which is doubtful) I called the front desk. She said she just got there and would call me back. Never called back. Later I went down to ask for another towel and washcloth and was told there were no more washcloths, only hand towels. Not impressed. Hotels should have to refund a good portion of the payment if their amenities are OUT OF ORDER. No penalty for this practice is completely unacceptable.

Such a bad experience staying at the hotel. Bed was not comfortable. The smell in the hallway and room was so bad, mold in the washroom. Breakfast was terrible - we came after 8am and there was no food, coffee wasn’t strong at all - hot water was pouring from the machine. Stuff was not friendly either.

The beds and bedding seemed clean, but in general the property felt run down and again; the smells were very unpleasant.
