Comfort Inn MSP Airport - Mall of America

We called ahead to ensure the pool was open. We were told upon check in the pool would be open. They lied. The pool was CLOSED. The room was sticky, bathroom tiles AND carpet. How does a carpet get sticky?! The outlets would not hold a plug and the USB ports had no power. The toilet was constantly running. The sofa bed mattress had rust stains from the rough metal bed frame. We had them move us to a second room which was better but still sticky. The shower wall was cracked, a three foot long crack on one wall and more cracks where the tub spout met the wall. After I bleached the bathroom floor myself it was acceptable. Breakfast was decent but we oddly had to walk through the under construction pool room, among the scaffolding, in order to reach the dining space. A disappointment overall.

I always choose this hotel. I like the location, friendly staff and Outback Steakhouse on site

The pool was ice cold. The room had not been updated in a while. The free breakfast lacked selection.

It was a quiet place to stay, and the rate was very reasonable. It's nice to have breakfast included but suggest that a few more food offerings would really enhance the experience. For example, there was only one type of yogurt both days and, although there was a spigot for another type of milk, there was no other type available.

Always stay here to get shuttle to airport. This last trip the driver was late for the pickup which wasn't the hotels fault. Usually a good place to stay.

Extremely disappointing and unsanitary stay. We paid nearly $--- for a room that was visibly filthy, including the walls, bathroom, sink, microwave, drawers, AC unit, and other surfaces. There was also a strong smell of smoke body odor and staff was rude

Hallway smelled like smoke and room smelled like men's cologne but overall it felt like home and was very convenient that outback is connected!

I ended up volunteering to take the man to his room and got him some food as it was nearly 10:30 p.m. He said his next flight was at 10 a.m. on Saturday. I explained that he needed to call the desk before 8:00 and explain that he needed assistance. Unfortunately, I saw this man at 9:15 the following morning trying to make his way down the hall. A front desk woman was walking far ahead of him with his bag and never looked back-she was clearly irritated that she had to help him. I walked up to the gentleman and asked if he'd had trouble. He said, "I called and called the desk and no one would help me." I realize this is a busy time and your staff isn't obligated to go the extra mile but I was so disappointed to see that this was how an otherwise positive experience turned out for this elderly gentleman. There is no way he would make his flight....

The rooms are super dirty and and stink so bad ! When I saw the condition of the place it was to late since I had already paid they refused to give me my money back for recertification so I just had to look for a better place and accept the lost.I think is a scam!

I will not stay here again. Facility is in poor shape and even the TV remote was difficult to use. Nothing but standard TV. Old carpets, old moldy caulk in the bathroom sink. They are trying to make it look better, but it is not working very well. That said, staff was good.

Iris driving the shuttle to the airport was an absolute nightmare. She would not acknowledge us as we said good morning. She would not answer questions. She did not let us off at departures but at a door with no instructions on where to go. I unloaded our luggage. She was not happy about loading it. I chose this property based on the airport shuttle. Will not consider staying here again after this experience.

Booked 2 adults, king bed and got 1 towel …. Front desk said 1 towel per bed - I call BULL on that, we stay there twice a year. Would not bring a second towel. He needs training!
