Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bloomington - MPLS Arpt Area W by IHG

The staff was courteous. The breakfast was exceptional because it had great variety including breakfast selections for vegetarians, and the food was very well prepared. There were 6 people in our room (3/3) but everyone was comfortable. Only suggestion we make is that because of the very small bathroom and zero hooks for hanging up towels we planned to re-use for a cleaner and greener environment, management consider better accommodation for doing this. We highly recommend consideration for a stay if you are seeking affordability and comfort.

Nice & clean hotel

I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. As a health conscious person, I found the breakfast to have healthy options which I enjoyed. Often I am unable to sleep when I travel. The hotel room was quiet and there wasn't anything that interfered with my ability to have a restful sleep. I would definitely rebook a hotel room again as I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

The hotel itself was enjoyed only issue was a person talking on the phone very loudly at 2am if i wasn’t totally exhausted I would’ve notified front desk

Overall, very well place. Just be warned, it is a very busy hotel. So there are always lots of people. But everyone was kind. Breakfast was top notch.

Wish I could give this place five stars due to the amenities, location to nice restaurants and overall layout. However, cleanliness was a big issue. First, the wall alongside the bed was covered with food stains and other marks. Second, some the grooves in the tub grout is starting to develop mold and needs to be addressed. Third, opened the mini fridge and freezer and water was dripping to the bottom of the unit. You could tell this freezer hadn't been defrosted in a long time. So, obviously the cleaning staff is not going into the fridge or they would have seen the build up. I reported this to the front desk who said they would look into it. It's a very busy place and seems well received but IHG has to put a little more attention into how these rooms are cleaned and maintained.

The property itself was fine. Unfortunately, our room key deactivated daily (on a 5 night stay). When my sons went to get it fixed, they only had to give names/room #. I was asked that PLUS my email and phone number. Also, when I tried to charge water to the room, I was accused of not leaving a card for incidentals the day before I checked out. I showed her my text from my CC confirming that the charge was pending and she pointed out that it said Holiday Inn, not express, and accused me of going to another hotel before coming here. She did change her attitude somewhat when I showed her the water charge also only showed up as holiday Inn and not express. In addition, I asked not for the room to be cleaned, but to get clean towels and to have the garbage emptied daily. This didn't happen despite me asking daily. I had to take care of it myself with housekeeping when they were near my room.

I stayed here last minute due to a delayed flight at MSP. It was nearby and quiet with friendly staff and a comfortable room. Would stay again when I make an intentional trip to the area.

This met all our needs, but the most outstanding part of our stay was how friendly and helpful all the staff was.

The room was clean. I made the reservation for 4 people. They only gave us 3 towels. Even when I asked for 4? The staff was great. Wonderful breakfast. The attendances kept plenty of food out. Lots of choices. Parking was great. Pool was small and closed for repair's the first night. The got it fixed but it was so cloudy. The PH was off.

Rooms are showing their age

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Older facility. Needs updating. Breakfast was good. Location is excellent.

The bedroom was huge and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and location perfect.

They serve the best breakfast buffet but the hotel room is not at its best when it comes to cleanliness.

Room was clean, beds comfortable!! Staff really nice & easy check in!! Was really packed & the people there were really nice. We enjoyed our stay & most definitely would go back! Also the breakfast was good!!
