Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bloomington - MPLS Arpt Area W by IHG

Quiet. Good location for airport. One set of sheets had stains on it (but had been washed). Room was dated with very tired towels. Common areas like hallway and elevator were not very clean.

Room was filthy and poorly designed. Chairs didn’t sit under desks because they were too tall, bathroom was impossible to navigate comfortably. The carpet was nightmarish. I spilled water on the way in and explained that I spilled so that it could be cleaned up and no one would slip. About an 30-45min later I reminded them because it was still there. Came to find it partially cleaned up but still there later on. I did not remind them a second time. One elevator was frightening to get into and was clearly broken until they finally put up an out of order sign 2 days later. This created a traffic jam where people attempting to leave had to wait a very long time for the one elevator to make it up and down while guests left for work/breakfast. I ended up parking at the backside of the building and using the stairs.

Breakfast was free and delicious. Staff was helpful and friendly. The interior could do with a remodel: carpets looked like they were from the 90s and were a bit musty smelling. And, there were dings and scratches on the hallway walls. Bathroom could use an update and there was some dirt/mold on the shower tile grout. Towels had obviously been used for years - but they were clean. WiFi was so much slower than the 5G access. Parking fee was only $10.00 - much better than the $30 we spent when we stayed at the Cambria. And, yes, this hotel was much better than the Cambria! Overall, the price was right for what we got so I recommend it for short stays. Added bonus - right next to Trader Joe’s!

It's soooo old and outdated. The beds are horrible and you can hear everything, everywhere.

The pool. It’s on the small side. Towels weren’t regularly refresh. The phone on the wall to ask for assistance didn’t work.

Staff was very friendly at front desk. Odd smell that permeates throughout the whole hotel. Rome was dirty. Found a dirty washcloth still hanging in the shower. Curtain bar for shower, curtains was broken. overall cleanliness in the room was subpar at best. Rooms highly outdated

the breakfast was over the top quality and variety they had an unadvertised $10 fee to park your vehicle

Room had an odor I think from an old ac unit. Lobby and elevator also smelled of pot.

There is a bit of wear such as room door is hard to open and close. Bed was very saggy/sloped on one side. Pool was warmer than typical and hot tub was good. Breakfast was good.

Rooms desperately need updating. Carpets are sticky and gross, bathroom door is falling apart, general musty smell.

I was impressed with the mouth wash being furnished. I like those small bottles. There were plenty of towels, etc. furnished.

Exceptional

Breakfast was wonderful! Kids had a great time at the pool. I appreciated the coffee all day!

The location was great! I really enjoyed my breakfast. The service was very kind.

Very clean everywhere but not new construction - pretty dark in rooms and lots of evident remodeling (patched holes where there shouldn't be, like in the shower ceiling). Workout facility and pool were exceptionally clean and well-equipped. Breakfast had lots of options, friendly staff, and clean area. Neighborhood has good access to I494, and there's a lot of shopping right across the street - Trader Joe's, Total Wine, BAM, Marshalls, etc. Will stay again!

The gentleman that checked us in was so nice and very attentive. Even though he was very busy, he brought us towels to the pool as soon as he could. He explained everything very well and helped me with the Bill. Everything was great thank you
