Holiday Inn : Bloomington W MSP Airport Area by IHG

Beds are comfy and the room and bathroom were clean. Property is showing wear and tear in the common areas, elevators, inside the room. Pervasive smell of pot out front, blowing through the lobby, on some guests in the elevator. On multiple days, not a one-off. Terrible coffee in room and in cafe. Wouldn’t stay here again unless it were significantly cheaper. Windows in room don't open so no way to dissipate constant musty smell. Meh.

Hotel was a little pricey for what was offered. The older man at the front desk was not helpful or friendly.

Things like this can happen, but what really made the experience frustrating was the lack of response from the staff. We expected someone to take the concern seriously and make an effort to resolve it. Instead, we were essentially left to deal with it ourselves. For the price we paid, the cleanliness of the room and the lack of customer service were extremely disappointing. I would expect much better from a hotel that wants guests to return.

I'd definitely stay at this hotel again, if breakfast was included. The other Holiday Inn nearby included breakfast with the stay which was really helpful. If breakfast doesn't matter to you, though, pick this one instead- the staff really was awesome all-around!

The front desk both checking in and out very personable and pleasant to talk to.

One side of the curtain rod was hanging off the wall so water went all over the toilet seat. We told the front desk the following morning but nothing happened. We also didn’t get housekeeping service because they skipped our room the first day and the second day was Labor Day and the housekeeping team had the day off. On our last day the toilet did not flush, luckily it was our last day there. Overall, it was a horrible experience and when we bring it to the front desk’s attention, they did not seem to care.

A decent stop for an early morning flight. 12 minutes away from MSP made it easy to get up and go in the morning. Facilities were decent. Pool and hot tub were a little dirty but decent overall.

Best hotel I have experienced in terms of cleanliness, ammenities and service. Loved the pool/ hot tub area as well as the lounge which includes a floor to ceiling TV system, a pool table and foozball table. The adjoining bar area was quaint and added to the evening experience. This hotel was unique and had a very welcomi g and relaxing vibe

Over all is good to excellent except the bathroom is a little bit small for a big guy.
