Hampton Inn Minneapolis Bloomington West

Clean, in good location, comfortable bed, light weight bed covers. Fridge didn't work at first. Called front desk. No custodian staff till next day. We worked with it, got it running. Breakfast food was absolutely unedible. I threw out badly spiced potatoes, there were no eggs, oatmeal was like paste! No sugar available to put on it to make it taste better. I tried maple syrup. Threw it all out. The watermelon water was good though.

I was placed on a floor that was undergoing refurbishment. There was construction materials and mattresses in the hallway.

There is only one electric charger for non-Tesla vehicles. It would have been nice if there was room for two!

Most everyone we came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. The night clerk on Sunday night had her face fully painted as a clown. I realize Minnesota is very inclusive but I don’t think that is appropriate business/professional attire. There is still a time and place for everything!

The bed was very comfortable. Great shower. The room was a good size. The breakfast is one of the better compared to other hotels. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Didn't love the pillows - too lumpy. Wish there had been a regular chair in the room. The chaise style is not comfortable for older people and difficult to get in and out of.

Hot tub was not working, pool was cold.

Perfect location and no surprises. Easy and comfortable stay. Everything was fine and as expected.

We made the mistake of staying three nights Construction was going on our floor. We had to walk through with luggage while avoiding debris. Chip crumbs were underneath the pillows. The fridge had dried spilled pop inside the door. All three nights we had people above us stomping all night and the in the morning. And when we brought this up to the hotel they said bring it up with to Expedia.

Breakfasts were delicious. Hotel staff was very nice. Room was clean. Only disappointment was the hot tub not being useful.

The pool and hot tub, and breakfast buffet were great. Noise levels were a bit tough. Was told that house keeping was daily, unless requested, but had 3 days in a row with no house keeping. Reported it at the front desk, but have not been contacted about the issue.

over all good stay, shower could be cleaner.

The room was really nice and the breakfast was really good. What I didn't like was the fact that the hot tub was down for all 3 days. I would think that somebody would be able to come in and make a simple repair within a day.
