Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel

One of the best hotels I think we’ve ever stayed at! I believe Ren was working the front desk and they were so great! Even the maintenance worker that helped us was awesome. Nice rooms and wonderful staff!

Fun decor, clean, nice gym

My toilet kept making swishing sounds every 10 minutes which interrupted my sleep. The chain in back needed adjusting.

The hotel is very nice! Nice room, nice swimming pool and nice hot tub. We really enjoyed the place!

Clean rooms. Helpful polite staff. Good location for our stay. Easy commute to Mystic Lake Ampitheatre.

The pool, hot tub, breakfast Can hear neighbors pretty good, kept hearing the maintenance door shut every time, stains on the headboard looked like semen if ya ask me

Super clean and nice atmosphere. I was looking forward to the pool, as the photos make it look huge! I will say, that it was and the deep end was amazing. The hot tub was not super warm, unfortunately and we felt the photos online misrepresented the size of the pool, as we felt it looked a lot bigger in the photo. I will say though, it still was amazing and a very nice space to spend time with my friends. The drains in the pool room did not seem to be working, so a lot of water was puddling in the walking area. Again, the atmosphere is amazing here and the amenities are worth it regardless if it felt smaller than the photos.

Room was spacious and updated. The bathroom lighting could be improved.

The library area and decor was cool.

BEWARE...DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE STARS. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE. Where do I start? Specifically, they did not listen to us and tried numerous times to talk over us. Also, the rooms look nice in the photos, but after further review, it was the opposite. First, one of the drawers was broken, the TV remote was faulty, the wallpaper was peeling, and the toilet paper holder was broken. Then halfway through my stay, they ran out of towels. Unbelievable!The solution was to move to another room, with no upgrade. No consideration for the fact that we had already unpacked everything. I had to contact Hotels.com to complain. They were so helpful! The Renaissance was not. Rooms were raggedy and dirty. I was so upset, thinking I would get better quality; boy, was I wrong! The only plus was that the bed was comfortable... that's it. Lastly, the shower head was coated copper oxide; this should have been replaced a long time ago. Don't be fooled by the fancy pictures... I will not stay here ever again.
