Homewood Suites by Hilton Boise

The room was nice, very roomy and comfortable. We did not use the gym or the pool, we stayed one night.

We were allowed to check in without the staff telling us about a fire directly behind the property and that their services, TV, internet and others not working, we found out after we got in our room.. however the smoke was entering the building and causing breathing issues. We had to leave in the morning along with many others customers. No one was happy with how you all handled the situation. It was a complete nightmare.

This hotel was awesome. Our room was huge and the beds were great. Breakfast was top notch. For the price and what you get I would stay here everytime I visit Boise.

Room smelled like dog pee, they were suppose to clean room every other day and that did not happen

The room was very nice and clean, however the bathtub was very slippery. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

When we checked in, there was hair in the bathtub and additional hair in the kitchen area. The pots, pans, forks, and other silverware appeared to have been left dirty by previous guests. Overall, it seemed as though the bathroom and kitchen had not been thoroughly inspected or cleaned before our arrival. We requested housekeeping service for the following day, but it appeared that only the trash was removed and a few items were replenished. Even the partially used toilet paper roll from before our arrival was simply restocked rather than replaced. The sofa-bed mattress covers were also worn, with visible holes and stains, and there was noticeable wear and tear on the walls throughout the room. The property does not necessarily need a complete renovation, but it does need more attention, maintenance, and care. On a positive note, the staff members were very helpful and attentive. A special thank-you to Nathan, who made our experience significantly better. The breakfast buffet was also enjoyable. This property has a lot of potential, but it needs stronger housekeeping training, better room inspections, improved laundry rotation, and more attention to detail. With some investment and consistent upkeep, it could live up to the high ratings we saw online.

Clean and staff excellent and location was great We did not have soap in the shower The dishes were not in the cabinets. We had to search for dishes They ran out of Earl Gray tea

All the staff are amazing. They are very accommodating. Front desk staff are very helpful in taking care of us and has given great recommendations.

This property uses sensor thermostat controls to save energy which means the temperature stays between 74 and 78 degrees. An override is possible but inconvenient. We asked for clean towels and new trash bags. They were not brought to our room on the first floor, as promised. We picked them up from the front desk almost 5 hours later. Unacceptable for the Hilton brand!

My best friend and I chose this hotel for her bachelorette trip & it was also my first time booking & staying in a hotel without my family. The staff were nice and helpful, and they were accommodating to our fully trained service dog & service dog in training with no issues. The hotel room & the hotel was extremely clean — which is amazing because sometimes it can be hard to find hotels where staff thoroughly cleans rooms & public areas. The suite we picked was very nice & enough space for all of us and even when we informed them on the overhead lights in the bedrooms didn’t work they sent maintenance guys to help & they explained they’re getting a remodel soon! But the lamp lights worked perfectly & lit up the room nicely & the fan worked so it wasn’t a problem at all! They also put us where we could easily let our dogs out which was so appreciated. We loved the pool & whirlpool hot tub as well! It is also a great location, especially for late night Walmart trips for groceries! I will definitely come here again, it was well worth the money & drive! Thank you!

I know it’s trivial, but the conditioner dispenser was empty. I think housekeeping should review that each time they do the room. Just saying.

The room was very nice. Good location. Great breakfast. The toilet didn't flush good. Had to double flush and/or hold handle for a few seconds just to empty the bowl. Nothing but urine and toilet water in it.
