Size of the room/bathroom were great.

There was little to like here. The room was average, only basic bathroom toiletries, no blanket or fold out luggage rack. Breakfast was low quality. Staff was unaccommodating and rude , particularly the female day manager. Will not be visiting here again, and perhaps no HIE. They are cut rate on most everything.

" something", which appeared to be a deceased bug on floor, hair in bathroom floor, had to ask 3 times for towels and then the front desk acted as if I was inconsiderate of them. No plans to stay at this location again.

The room was clean, the bed comfy, and everyone was very nice and helpful.

This was the first time in all my travels that a housekeeper left us a handwritten note thanking us for staying with Holiday Inn Express and wishing us safe travels. It was greatly appreciated.

Check in was 3pm got delayed twice to get into the room. Surroundings outside and inside were noisy. Could hear people in hallways and the next room. There needs to be instructions on how to raise and lower the shade blind for the window. Very difficult to operate. Unsatisfactory for the price. Will look for another option next trip to Boone

The staff was polite and the breakfast was pretty substantial. The hostess was prompt at refilling the food and she was kind, respectful and polite. The only down side was the single operating elevator in a nearly full occupancy hotel. It was quicker to take the stairs than wait for ride the elevator.

My granddaughter and I took advantage of both the breakfast and the gym and was pleased with both. Our room was clean and cozy and the staff was helpful and friendly.
