Wonderful bar

Great rooms and staff.

The Liberty is ideally located for a stroll to the north end for a good meal. The Liberty provides a great coffee / tea complimentary bar in the am. The ambience of the hotel is majestic. Be mindful of the “hidden costs” of the exorbitant overnight valet parking costs.

Unfortunately, the room service breakfast was dissapointing - unedible really. In spite of that (we will never do room service there again) we will definitly stay again. Hopefully, they took the room service charge off the bill.

I’ve stayed here several times, always enjoyable… I’d like to note that the room I stayed in was showing signs of age - hard pillows, thin towels, broken desk, and dim makeup mirror…

The rooms are just okay. They’re comfortable enough, but nothing about them feels especially luxurious or memorable. One thing that really stood out was having to walk through the Alibi area to get to the elevators. It was absolutely packed with partying college students and had a loud nightclub atmosphere. It didn’t feel like the entrance to a luxury hotel at all. Another downside is the location. The highway runs right beside the hotel, so depending on your room, traffic noise can be noticeable. The gym was one of the biggest disappointments. For a hotel that’s supposed to be five stars, it’s tiny, outdated, and one of the weakest hotel gyms I’ve come across. The building itself is worth seeing, but beyond that, I don’t think the hotel delivers the luxury experience or value that its reputation suggests.

From the moment we arrived, the staff exceeded our expectations. The valet team welcomed us at our car with professionalism and warmth, and the smartly dressed front desk staff provided an exceptional check-in experience. Every interaction made us feel genuinely valued as guests. The history of the building adds a truly unique charm to the hotel. Blending the property’s historic character with modern luxury creates an unforgettable experience unlike any other place we’ve stayed. We highly recommend The Liberty Hotel to anyone visiting Boston and will absolutely stay here again on our next trip.

Very cool hotel! Loved that the room matched the history of the building. Would stay again. Only downside is the mini fridge. You have a fridge but it’s full of over priced mini bar items that you have to move if you want to put your own stuff in. It’s nice to have the mini bar if you want that option, but I don’t think they should be stocked in the rooms. Especially alcohol in the room, seems a little distasteful with so many people these days in recovery. Just seems like an option that you should be able to choose not have it right there is all. Other than that 10/10!

They never mentioned that champagne was being served and we were being charged for it. The doormen did not hop to to get my husband into a car. Another was very helpful directing us to Charles St/Beacon Hill.

Nice staff, pool is great and everything was very clean.

Good location to Mass General but be careful of the neighborhood after dark. Skip the restaurants in the hotel as there are better choices within walking distance.

Cannot say enough great things about this hotel but the service and staff were above and beyond in every way. Customers for life. We most definitely will be back.

Great hotel- cool vibe.

Excellent historic hotel in great location .5 mile walk to Boston Common area. Room was clean and artistic with super comfortable bed. The staff was very friend and helpful. We loved the lobby area with multiple extra large tv screen to enjoy the Works Cup events and order classy cocktails! Love it over all!

Staff at front desk weren’t very helpful. Room was okay - not the quality I would expect from a 5 star hotel
