Attention to detail is extremely important in a hotel and this hotel lacks that. Hours on hours and no attempted recovery for a dirty room until I called for a third time is disappointing.

The hotel is at a lovely location. Shops and restaurants are only a short walk away. We stayed here because our son is studying at MIT. The university is a ten minutes walk which was very pleasant, walking next to the Charles River. The breakfast was quite delicious but a tiny bit over priced. We really enjoyed using the indoor pool. It was very relaxing around the pool area, with lovely comfortable chairs and loungers, There is also a little gym for those gym buds. Overall our stay very pleasant and comfortable, just wish it included breakfast for the price we paid.

Beautiful setting. Easily accessible to everything. Great summer stay near the city to see a show or tour. Coming back again to try out the pool and take the kids on the Duck Boats.

Great experience and very helpful staff! Kudos to them!

Room was nice, spacious and clean. Front desk staff were helpful and easy to get around Boston from this location. Didn't have a chance to use the pool or fitness room but I wish I had brought my workout clothes as they had nice amenities.

Except the food deal. We got a $10 daily credit for the restaurants on the grounds, and hated the system - charge it to your room, and trust that staff will notice it and take the credit off later. We stayed 4 nights and just ate elsewhere most of the time because we didn't want food to rack up on the room bill.

Old hotel so you get old carpet, old bathrooms.

Honestly this is the second or third time I’ve stayed here. It’s such a great place because there’s a lot around within walking distance. 15 minute walk further into downtown brings you to the heart of Faneuil Hall / Quincy market and so much more. Always a clean room, staff is always so helpful. I haven’t tried their breakfast yet but I bet it’s good !

From the moment I booked with Royal Sonesta Boston - every phone call, conversation, and interaction with EVERY staff person - was excellent. The staff here by far exceeds your expectations in this industry and I would recommend this place again and again in a heartbeat. BRAVO, BRAVO! Y'all deserve a raise! Thank you so much for making our very first trip to Boston pleasant and memorable. 👏

Everything else was excellent. Parking for a reasonable fee. Public transportation nearby including the EZ Ride which is a free bus service. Everything was SO clean! Loved the pillows. They actually had some firmness and not the standard "soft" pillows where you lay your head down and nearly drown in the pillow. Lots of restaurants nearby. Had a Cheesecake Factory across the street. Starbucks inside the hotel. Traffic around hotel was horrendous, but I feel it was still better than in Boston (maybe). Check-in lady was lovely.

Perfect place to stay to go to TD garden

No me gustó el cuarto q me dieron , un cuarto muy chico con cama king size y esquinado y el baño no tiene ventilador , creo que es importante porque no está ventilado Reserve otros dos cuartos con camas dobles Estos estaban un poco más amplios

Great view of the city
-
2nd time staying there, will be the only hotel i use when staying in Boston from now on, great location, 15 minute walk to TD Garden, 7 minute walk to green line subway, shopping center right accross the street

Wonderful place... fantastic location.
-
It said the breakfast was included but when you get there they just give you a $10 credit to use per day

Things to keep in mind: - The immediate area is very desolate aside from two restaurants across the street (side note the Gato Mexican restaurant had good food and an interesting atmosphere. - Research and get the "Blue Bike" app so you can just jump on bikes and go around downtown which is only about 10 min bike ride away (less if you get and electric). - The duck tour looked really good and we missed it, but we didn't know that the staging area was just a few blocks away (double check that in case I'm mistaken). - Buy snacks or something, food on site wasn't bad, other locations close early, and there is no rooms service. Overall liked my stay at this location.

We LOVED our stay here! It is the perfect location and the room was fantastic. My partner has allergy/sinus issues with most rooms but not here!
