Staff OK, noisy location and we could hardly see out our window, it was filthy!

This a terrific hotel in every way. Its our first choice for our twice-yearly visits to Boston.

Old hotel. Rooms need a bit of updating. Bar not set up for evening business.

The hotel overall was ok. I would expect more from a 4 star hotel. Our room never seemed to be super clean. The carpets didn’t appear to get vacuumed and trash was left on the nightstand. We also got plenty of towels the first couple of nights but nights 3 and 4, they were scarce and I had to ask the front desk for some. That being said, the location was really good and concierge was nice and attentive but would probably look to stay somewhere else nearby next time.

Shower water was lukewarm at best. Housekeeping left dirty wet rag in my room when they did turn down. Person working at the front desk was watching a movie when I left at 6 AM and barely acknowledged my existence.

We had 3 nights, very well located. Room amenities were basic, the showers weren’t that hot first thing. Breakfast was good, slightly slow on the service. The night team were chirpy ☺️.

Had a comfortable stay. Good location. Spacious room. Comfortable bed.

Boston is an nice town and have a lot of thinks to do. The room was clean, the A/C was working good, thank all the stuff for the all hard working.

We have stayed here twice. First time was a little better. Both times we got king rooms. First time we felt the room was small but totally doable. The second time our room was very small, not even enough room for two night tables. The bathroom was also very tight. The bedsheets and towels were clean the bathroom just felt dated and not super clean. Overall the hotel is fine but for the price and the fact they sell it as upscale- I don’t think we will go back.

Travelocity or the hotel that gave us a bait and switch on our room. Regardless I went from a King to a bed I couldn’t fit in. Not worth the money I spent

It was somewhat galling to be shaken down for a resort fee on check-in, when the hotel is anything but a resort. No pool, a fitness room the size of a broom cupboard, a breakfast only restaurant. The stay was comfortable enough for the short time we were there, but these scammy resort fees should be included in the up-front room pricing to allow customers to make an informed choice for where to take their business.

Great location for a fan of sports and history

Mathew, at the front desk, was fantastic. He gave us great restaurant ideas where the locals ate. He made sure we had good directions and was just a pleasure to talk to. The breakfast was very good and we loved the quaint style of the room.

The staff was amazing. They were very helpful and patient.

Exceptional

Very small room with old furniture. Location was not ideal either.
