Meco Hotel - Hostel

Wonderful staff ! You can tell the owners go out of their way to make your stay a nice stay every time. Great location, I’ve always found it clean & I always sleep great on the bed. Unfortunately sometimes other guests lack respect & may cause loud noises. I even had my curtain opened, multiple nights by the same woman. Of course that’s not the fault of the property; but unfortunately it’s a potential to interrupt your sleep. I will stay again.

The kind person, chip.. I'll have to revise my impression because, even after 30 days since my stay, my deposit still hasn't been returned. The hotel's response was along the lines of "we're working on the case," "forwarded to management," etc. Be careful with the deposit.

Nice little boutique hostel, very comfortable beds and in a Greta location across from north station

I love the design of the hotel! The pods are really spacious and provide a lot of privacy. This is my second stay here and will always return when I’m back in Boston!

It was somewhere just to sleep and did it's job. Staff were fine but I didn't have much interaction with them as was basically sleeping and showering there. The cleaner was in the room every day but basically ignored my pod apart from day 2 out of 10. If you are looking for a cheap option for a decent sleep like I was it is perfectly acceptable. They have a room so you can take your own food to cook. I didn't use but saw there is a telly a book library, vending machine and microwave at least. It is right in the centre giving easy accss to everything and train station 2 minutes walk. Pizza place right at the door is decent

The guy who checked me in was great and made the experience much better. Was happy to help with anything I asked. I wasnt overly impressed with the breakfast selection but I wasnt expecting anything really so can't complain.

There was a security deposit of $150, which was not expected by me, but they said it would be refunded in a week.

Fantastic stay! Would recommend for its location, convenience, lounge, and helpful staff.

I would stay again. Quite near TD Bank Garden if attending an event. Altho there was an electrical glitch in my pod, I was able to make do and was compensated with a free coffee/breakfast. The bunk was comfortable, quiet and near single bathrooms. Good shower water pressure & hot. Towels & free padlocks were a nice perk. Level 7 provided a peaceful work space & breakfast. Transport back to Logan was easy. Great Value for an over night layover given Boston prices.

LOVED IT VERY MUCH

Seventh floor sitting area that looks over the block, with the bed being an all-inclusive (charge your phone in the bed) single person “pod”, amazingly cool if you don’t mind it being small. Expensive price though, hotel requires credit card at check-in but sort of puts $0 on it.

Kind of an amazing setup for a hostel. Friendly staff. Super quiet. Smart design with the bed that adjusts into a couch, storage locker underneath that pulls out all the way --easy and plenty of room for storage. They give you a lock to use, no charge. Towels are also no charge. One thing they could do better is put people in beds not next to each other when there's enough space not to. That would've been good. And perhaps a tiny shelf or second pocket on the wall. I'll stay here again in a heartbeat.
