Meco Hotel - Hostel

Convenient, great location, great amenities and safe place for travelers specially for a solo traveler. Loved it !

It was so nice and comfortable especially since I was more in the only women’s dorm sharing! Everybody was cordial and sweet <3 Definitely would come back and stay here again for my next concert stay!

The front desk staff were excellent! The bed and bathrooms were clean. It’s located close to the metro and bus station.

I’ve stayed in various types of capsule and cabin type hotels in Japan, so I’m always curious when something similar is offered in the US. There were a few quirks but overall I had no problems/issues during my stay (fortunately there was nobody else in my shared room so it felt like a private room). Location was also ideal and I felt it was good value compared to a hotel if you’re travelling solo and want to stay in downtown Boston.

During my stay I was unfortunately faced with someone who decided to overstay their welcome and I had to be reassigned to a new pod. In the new pod it appeared the controls weren’t working which I can’t blame the staff as things like this happen (Especially if the prior stayer did not bring it up to their attention) so I had to be reassigned to a new pod and during this time the staff were extremely nice and flexible with the situations and pod changes. I can as well say that they appeared to have fixed the switches by the next day(Not Confirmed). The bathrooms were extremely clean with plenty of towels to use.

Cleary, I thought I was renting a room into my heart. I rented a bed. Share bathrooms were filthy. Breakfast accommodations with black coffee and some minor donuts. Nothing else. Even though I bought protection for cancellation, I tried to get a refund to leave for my second night management wouldn’t let me get a refund. I had to leave. It was horrible.

They have a 24/7 front desk. I came in at 2AM and the man at the desk, Jake, was very helpful & reassured my worries as it was my first time at a hostel. I was very surprised by how clean the private & communal bathrooms were, and

No laundry. Elevator was broken which for travellers who may be carrying heavy luggage, might not be ideal

Good location, Staff was friendly and at least for my stay the guests were fairly respectful in the shared sleeping spaces. The place seemed clean, but worn for a relatively new place. I wasn't expecting a 5-star hotel for a US "Pod" hotel stay, but there were damaged walls, damaged fixtures. Prior guests seem to have applied contact paper on windows to block out the light. The elevator broke after the first night of a 3 night stay. It was the weekend I understand but with a 6th floor bed, that's a lot of stepping!

Very happy with my stay. I had to extend my trip by a night and by the time it came to extend, this was one of the only affordable options nearby so I booked it. In the future this will be where I look first in the area because the price was right, I felt safe the entirety of my stay and my belongings were secure (which were my concerns staying at a hostel). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and everything was clean and very comfortable! Thank you for my stay at your location!

Wonderful staff ! You can tell the owners go out of their way to make your stay a nice stay every time. Great location, I’ve always found it clean & I always sleep great on the bed. Unfortunately sometimes other guests lack respect & may cause loud noises. I even had my curtain opened, multiple nights by the same woman. Of course that’s not the fault of the property; but unfortunately it’s a potential to interrupt your sleep. I will stay again.

A beautiful, convenient, affordable place, especially for someone just in transit between airports.

I love the design of the hotel! The pods are really spacious and provide a lot of privacy. This is my second stay here and will always return when I’m back in Boston!

It was somewhere just to sleep and did it's job. Staff were fine but I didn't have much interaction with them as was basically sleeping and showering there. The cleaner was in the room every day but basically ignored my pod apart from day 2 out of 10. If you are looking for a cheap option for a decent sleep like I was it is perfectly acceptable. They have a room so you can take your own food to cook. I didn't use but saw there is a telly a book library, vending machine and microwave at least. It is right in the centre giving easy accss to everything and train station 2 minutes walk. Pizza place right at the door is decent

Spacious, nice LOCKABLE drawers under beds!

The guy who checked me in was great and made the experience much better. Was happy to help with anything I asked. I wasnt overly impressed with the breakfast selection but I wasnt expecting anything really so can't complain.

There was a security deposit of $150, which was not expected by me, but they said it would be refunded in a week.

Fantastic stay! Would recommend for its location, convenience, lounge, and helpful staff.
