The staff were polite and helpful. The room was ok. Not as good as the photos and there was quite a lot of wall paper peeling up at the edges. The bar was ok but again, not as good as the marketing photos. The whole experience was fine but for the price paid it definitely didn’t deliver what was expected. It was easily double what the room was actually worth, in my opinion.

Beautiful hotel on the best street! The staff was excellent and very helpful.

Car takes forever to get from valet at least 30 min
-
Lovely and elegant with an exceptional staff. Deluxe King room was comfortable and large. This property is one we will stay in again! Worth the money!
-
Centrally located. Great clean hotel. The suite was spacious, and the bed and comforter were divine. The staff is welcoming, always helpful, and gracious. Great bar and barman. The only issue we had is that the water flow in the shower is not at its best

We stayed a week and took advantage of the awesome location, great restaurants (Street Bar and Contessa). The library room had coffee with pastries in the morning and treats at night...we loved out stay and would come back in a heartbeat!

I highly recommend this location! The staff went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The service throughout the property was truly excellent.

We were greeted by Andrew at check-in, and he couldn’t have been more welcoming or accommodating. We arrived extremely early after a red-eye flight, fully expecting to wait for our room. Instead, Andrew went above and beyond to find us a room that morning so we could rest, and then the next day he even arranged to move us to an even better room with a spectacular view. His kindness and exceptional service truly set the tone for our entire stay. I could write a book about all the reasons this hotel is outstanding. Every detail is top-notch, from the incredible staff and impeccable service to the beautiful rooms, amazing amenities, unbeatable location, and breathtaking views. Everywhere you turn, you can tell they genuinely care about providing a first-class experience. If you’re considering staying here, do yourself a favor and book it. I can honestly say you won’t regret it. It was worth every penny, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly, highly recommend!

Clean room! Amazing Staff! Great breakfast!

The Newbury is just a no brainer !
-
Chic decor, comfy rooms, great staff, excellent restaurant (Contessa). The only things that weren’t perfect were longish waits for one of the three elevators, and 40 minutes to get breakfast room service ( so I advise ordering breakfast the night before to make sure it arrives exactly when you want it). Excellent hotel and great location for exploring boston

Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was a major disappointment. It constantly disconnected throughout the day and night, making it unreliable for both work and personal use. Another issue was the parking information. The hotel should make it much clearer before arrival that valet parking costs $85 per night. Guests who prefer not to pay that fee would benefit from information about nearby self-parking options.

Great location, staff and service.
-
The property was recently renovated. Very stylish rooms, Contessa restaurant upstairs is hip and delicious, the beds and bedding are very comfortable and we even had eye masks in our room. The location is great on Newbury street and across from the Boston commons. Perfect for a weekend escape

The open lounge to grab water or a snack throughout the day is such a nice touch. Fantastic bar/restaurant on the first floor. And the location is the very best in Boston! Beautiful property.
-
Absolutely wonderful location and Hotel. We loved it here and we’ll definitely be back. Right across the street from the Boston Commons was extra special.

The Newbury Boston horel was absolutely amazing, beautiful, and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is located at a very prestigious area right across the street from the garden and where all the designer boutiques are. Will definitely return to this property
