Great rooms with just about all you would need. Elegant touches made it feel slightly upscale. Love the centralized location and proximity to Boston Common. A fridge in the room would have been ideal!!

Reasonable good place close to Boston commons. Once we figured out AC, it worked well!

We had an excellent day at this hotel. The room was clean when we arrived and housekeeping kept the room clean and stocked. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.

We loved staying at the Rivera. We were just a few minutes walk away from Boston Commons and the Boston Public Gardens. Our room was always fresh and clean when we got back from touring. We got free entry into the Paul Revere house as one of the perks of our stay and a free postcard. These were fun amenities. We were close to markets and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay.

There is a daily "amenities" charge but that is sparse. Self serve bags of tea bags and a flavored water machine. No spoons or ice to make iced tea. Just another way to get an extra $40 plus out of each room.

Clean, well decorated hotel. Lack of access to roof top patio during our stay was disappointing. Would be nice to have more onsite amenities

This stay was a little different because the hotel was extremely busy with events. While it's great to see the hotel thriving, we unfortunately weren't able to enjoy some of the amenities because they were closed for private events during both days of our stay. The lobby also became quite congested as event guests gathered there, making it difficult at times to walk through with our family and luggage. None of these issues would keep us from returning, but if you're planning to use the hotel's amenities, it may be worth checking whether large events are scheduled during your stay. Overall, we still had a great experience and look forward to staying here again.

The hotel has an on-site restaurant with bars inside and on the roof which was really nice after dark. The cocktails and the food were great. I thought it was a little pricey but most everything in the city is. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is easy to walk to most everything or take the on off trolley. We had a very enjoyable four nights while we were there.

When I asked the reception why they didn’t answer the room phones they said they were too busy. I get hotels get busy, but staff accordingly. And don’t be rude when a guest ensures as to why a call went unanswered.

Courteous staff. Clean room. But extemely over priced. I have never spent so much for a room and not received a breakfast. On top of not having breakfast with the overpriced room you have to pay a large sum for parking. Not worth the money paid. You could also hear water running through the room quite a bit at night. Most likely from the plumbing.

Rented a 1 bedroom suite on the 14th floor for 2 nights. Quick checkin, I forgot to mention that we needed bedding for the pull-out sofa bed. Room had 2 balconies, one off Living Room and one off bedroom. The 1 full bath was right by the entrance to the room so not that close to the Master bedroom. We did have to call down for bedding for the sofa, and it took about 45 minutes for them to deliver the bedding. Booking thru Expedia, I received a 20% off coupon for one breakfast for our party of 3 so we did eat downstairs, the food was good (omelets, fruit plate, French toast). Another convenience is there is an Enterprise rental car office right in the hotel. We checked out the rooftop bar area which is beautiful. Very good location a few blocks from the Commons, and a large drug store just across the street. My only ding is all the add-on fees (city tax, daily resort fee, etc) really do add up.

Great, clean hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. The location is walkable to restaurants, bars, bakeries, public gardens and other sites. I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel in a great location. The coffee in the morning was amazing and our kids loved the flavored water bottle filler. Would definitely stay here again when traveling to Boston!

Not much in amenities. Small gym, nice flavored water dispenser, and small restaurant.

Staff was very helpful. I like the fact that the hop on hop off bus was only a block away.
