But rooms good size and kept very clean. Nice extras like free drinks in reception area. Issues resolved by staff (who were friendly and helpful) v promptly. Hotel can’t control the street noise which was primarily the result of a great location - everything including park within walking distance.
-
Traveling for business. Room was large comfortable and clean. Will stay here again!
-
It is very modern and felt somewhat inconvenient. But perhaps that is just for my taste. The location was great. The staff was great. It was loud and I did not like the feel of it. But I also don’t regret staying there.

Great Location and Atmosphere.
-
The staff was so kind and accommodating. Unmatched experience
-
The staff was great. Unfortunately this hotel is next to a club. All night until 4am, you'll hear cars beeping and people outside being loud. It was horrible. I live in the city so I'm used to noisy environments but this was far worse. My guest and I checked out hours earlier than planned due to this. We were annoyed from lack of sleep and had a long drive ahead. No good city views either from the rooms. No indoor pool. Wouldn't stay here again.

Service poor

Perfect central location to walk to Back Bay or Downtown. Great staff and eooms.

Superb
-
Very little Noise was terrible - own a club that goes to 3am and no double glazing. Toilets stank - poor plumbing. Value for money was terrible - added $45 to your bill to give a $20 meal credit. Felt ripped off
-
Room was not cleaned. Just once when we requested it. Staff was not hospitable.
-
Just a plain hotel. The lobby, “lounge”, and restaurant area are pretty poor. The staff were great especially Jenni and Jean. Without them, rating would be lower. I wouldn’t stay there again.
-
The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is my first night it was extremely loud at the two night clubs below my room (even from the 11th floor) and I couldn’t sleep until 3am. It would have been nice to be warned about that, or for other accommodations to be offered, but when I asked the only accommodation they offered was a downgrade in rooms
-
Very nice comfortable room in the heart of the Theater District. We had a one-night staycation while we caught events in the area; the W was a great choice. Slightly more spacious rooms than your typical Boston closet. Street parking is the best option here. Fortunately during the day it's easy to come by. Prepare for a fight for metered spots. It's worth it.

Location , Room Service burgers The Interior design was going through a-lot! Not one unified concept in sight.

Exceptional
-
Room was fine Door staff, bar staff and breakfast reception not good verging on rude. Breakfast was poor value, had to wait, when busy they couldn’t be bothered to make cappuccinos, lobby lounge bar is just a lobby with sofas. On check out so many additional hidden charges on bill on top of an already expensive stay

The meeting rooms were spacious and airy

They made my stay seamless and provided an exceptional human touch. On Marathon Monday there was coffee gatorage, fruit and granola bars starting at 5:30 AM. THANK YOU! I grabbed these and had it to get ready in the morning, and even zome gatorade and snacks for recovery post race. What blew me away though was that when I returned to the hotel after the race there was staff lined up clapping runners in, and presented me with a frame that included my name and finishing time. They had cute Boston finisher cookies, too. WOW. WOW. WOW. THAT is exceptional customer experience. I only wished that I had recorded it- but quite frankly the gesture was so heartwarming it was bringing tears to my eyes and I didn't think of it at the time. It will go down as something I remember fondly about my marathon and the city of Boston. I hope the staff reads this and knows that that gesture meant a lot. I trained for years to get there, and the staff - and the city of Boston made me feel exceptional that day. If the hotel happens to, or any runners happen to, have any videos of this from the runners perspective walking in, I would love to get my hands on it!
