Moxy Boston Downtown

Hooks all over the wall saved us during the nor’easter and needing to dry out our jackets and umbrellas. Good use of the space and the daily food vouchers for the restaurant came in handy!

The $35 per night charge was kinda of given back in$35 vouchers to use at the restaurant. The food was delicious.

Exceptional

This was my husband‘s and mine first trip in Boston. The location was perfect. Very close to the subway lines and a variety of food options. The only downside I will say is that on Friday and Saturday nights it’s very loud on the street and even on the 15th floor, you could hear everything. Our view was impeccable!

Front desk staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. Upon arrival you get 2 free drink coupons and 4 $35 food vouchers (3 nights) for the restaurant. They also provide free water bottles for your entire stay. Restaurant staff spent a lot of time talking and not quick to tend to you unless you went straight to the cashier. Food is ok, but over priced for what you get. Rooms are small and basic, but do-able for our 3 nights. Great shower and water pressure and AC! It's a little noisy if you have a room along the street. Note that some rooms do not have windows! I learned this the first time. Terrible lighting. We were in town for the football game. Get the "event train" if your going to the game. $20 round trip. Walking distance to the train, the duck tour stop, and the hop on/off bus, Chinatown, several parks, Cheers, and so much more. I would stay here again.

Staff were excellent. Location close to Boston Common but too close to noisy street below and club. Would help if this was known before asking for room on this side of the hotel. Breakfast very good. Staying over Friday and weekend we had to put up with loud noise from club over the road and goons revving cars up and down the street until after 3 am

Food was great, a good value Water in bathrooms nice and hot Nice fitness room Felt a little cramped, the rooms are small, but not a big deal for the price. Could have used a small fridge and access to an ice machine

Perfect choise for both short and long term stay

Location 2 of our days , we had toilet problems and had to use 3rd floor bathroom

Bathroom was lovely, great shower, good location for shops, parks and sightseeing. Walking distance to the subway, staff were very friendly The size of the room was very disappointing. No cupboards or drawers, only hooks on a wall to hang things on. We had a two large suitcases and struggled juggling our clothes and footwear. Food was microwaved so not quite what we expected. We arrived on a Saturday and it was very noisy at night due to a nightclub outside and lots of noise from vehicles.

Toilet clogged, ceilings need to be redone

Staff are friendly and helpful Noise from the street in the midnight even though my room was on 19th floor.

Cool, hip and fun hotel. Place has a great vibe. Very nice and courteous staff. Nice bar. Decent breakfast options. Great coffee. Clean and very comfortable room.

Good

Hotel was clean and the room, although small, was very nice. They gave me coupons for a free drink at the bar and $35 voucher that I used to eat breakfast the next morning. The hotel has a cool vibe but it is not for people who need sleep, on a business trip (which I was) or travelling with children. I liked everything about this hotel except the noise! They need to invest in sound proof windows. The hotel is located downtown near all of the bars and restaurants and all I heard was loud music, sirens and cars blowing their horns. Great hotel for the price but don't plan to get any sleep before 3 am!

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. I loved the aesthetic throughout the hotel it was beautiful, stylish, and well put together. Everything was nice and clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, it had a great atmosphere and was a very pleasant place to stay. The biggest issue during my stay was the noise outside. I was on the 16th floor, but there were several clubs and bars across the street, so the noise was still very noticeable late into the night. Unfortunately, there was very little sleep happening because of it. The bed was also very firm and not as comfortable as I would have preferred.

We did not eat the breakfast and our room was very loud because it was over the roof of another building that made noise all night Lighting in the room was awful. Trying to put on make up impossible. There were zero blankets or a down comforter. The room was very cold without the fan or air-conditioning on.
