HI Boston - Hostel

Convenient location, friendly and professional staff, spacious kitchen and dining area, and different activities every day to meet new friends. I would love to stay here again.

Good location, nice staff, a lot of places to sit, clean, pleasant. They try to really help the people get to know each other and the city. Close to everything and in Chinatown. Close to boston commons and AMC and walking distance from everywhere. Lots of restaurants and sightseeing around. There was a Japanese school while I was staying there and they made a lot of noise and occupied the kitchen. Also, the cleaners cleaned the bathroom straight thing in the morning- which made it difficult to even brush teeth since they were cleaning the bathroom, not to mention making so much noise and waking us early in the morning. Also, very cold inside the hostel.

The localization was great. The bathroom was clean and tide. The living room was nice but the plugs wasn’t working. And what I like the most was the privacy in the bed. I liked in general.

Lovely room, but the elevator was broken all through my stay so having to drag luggage up to the 4th floor was kind of a pain. But the staff were wonderful, the space well maintained.

It doesn't have breakfast service as mentioned on expedia. Worst spent 200$ for stay.

I loved the focus on sustainability, specifically composting of food waste and recycling. I loved the communal kitchen, dining area, food storage surplus food sharing, pool table, board game table and chairs set up for conversations. The sound-insulating plate glass windows made the space feel safe yet in the loop. Great atmosphere for burgeoning or intrepid adventures. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The room a/c in room 309 was not adjustable and oversized for the room. Temp was 63 F upon ckin at 8 pm, and went down to 59 overnight. We wore our rain jackets to bed to avoid freezing. We are used to 72 F and no a/c, respectively.
