The staff were efficient, prompt, friendly, patient, helpful. The bed arrangements were good in providing nice privacy with bed curtains, comfort, and clean linens, the room temperatures were just right, the lounge and other seating was comfortable, the shower curtains with metro maps were helpful, kitchen and other facilities good, all clean and well-tended I thought it very bad to charge $8 for keys to lockers, which by definition should be lockable if includedvin the rental. N o onecwants to lug even small totes around as they explore or even go outvfor coffee. It's tawdry to exploit like that. I am 81 years old and in pretty good health, but I had to go up 3 flightsvof steps because of an elevator outsge that had occurred 2 weeks before my arrival on 8-6-26. I had made reservations online 6-23-26. I was told the repairs had been delayed until the arrival of new parts. I should have been infomed of the outage in time to make other arrangements had I wished. The desk agent was able to find a bed in a both-gender room upin my arrival because my res. was for 6th floor female dorm. What would I have done had that bed not been found! Fellow renters helped with baggage, but the failure to give notice to residents of any age was bad. No offer of a discount was made though warranted.

The property is close to almost everything and also it is clean. During my stay, the elevator is not working and have to go up all the way to 6th floor with my carry on luggage and backpack!

I liked how close it was to Chinatown. The elevator wasn't working.

I've stayed at the one in New York, I love my stay there so I booked the Boston branch. I love this location too! Its better than NYC! I love the private washroon/shower just outside our dorm. I never have to line up even though the hostel was full. Everytime I have to use it its always available. LOCATION: Amazing! With so many good places to eat around the area at anytime of the day. I went to Boston for the BTS concert and a really good Chinese restaurant is still open at 1am. Boston Common is a few blocks away too I did the Freedom trail just by walking from the hostel. Its near South Station too which is a main travel hub the commuter trains/subway and buses are here COMMON AREAS: There's always a place to seat! I would definitely stay here next time im in Boston! Roomates are respectful too everyone are! The elevator! :( I'm on the 4th floor it was fine but at 1am after a tiring concert it would be nice to have an elevator

The staff ate very friendly and helpful. They're organised and they do their best to make sure rhe visitor is comfortable. The place was was clean but some rooms are really cold. Some rooms being really cold. The lift was broken so.carrying your suitcase to the 6th floor isn't fun.

i like how everything was convenient and right next to each other another thing was it was right down the street from south station the bathrooms were disgusting there was hair everywhere , on the walls they don’t provide wash cloths for showering only towels. another downside was there was no elevators in the entire buildings ( i was on the 6th floor ) honestly just a major disappointment. many people did not have the decency to flush a toilet which is insane. overall the spot is good just needs more cleaning & maintenance.

I had a great experience staying here. The beds have privacy curtains and are very conducive to sleeping. There are individual bathrooms and they organise social events for guests. The staff were very friendly. Wyatt was particularly helpful.

Friendly and helpful staff, secure building, the working amenities were nice. Great location. Elevator was broken and had been for weeks. My spouse has COPD, and it was difficult to climb 5 flights of stairs to get to our room, triggering an asthma attack at one point. Many other travelers seemed to be having similar difficulties. The thermostat panel in our room was blank, there was a card underneath with a qr code for instructions that wouldn't load when scanned. There was a tower fan in the room that had a chamber that could be filled with ice water, but I couldn't find an ice machine. Ended up walking down the 5 flights of stairs and down the street 2 blocks to 7- eleven to buy my own ice. The bed frame was the light weight metal kind made of box tubing you get from Amazon and put together yourself, the center support column kept tipping sideways due to the bolts being too loose, leaving it dipping like a hammock. Weird shelf thing in place of a headboard, the pillows kept falling down under it onto the floor. I ended up buying a body pillow from target nearby to place behind the pillows to get a decent sleep The laundry room was great, very convenient. . This place would have been a lot of fun to stay in my early 20s, but for couples in their 30s/40s+ looking due a little more

Great chain of hostels that allows to explore big cities in US. There are all facilities that you need: good kitchen, laundry, enough clean bathrooms, many places around location. Helpful staff. Very cold in the room and not possible to adjust temperature. Some things are worn off.

Absolutely did not have A/C in room during an incredibly hot stay. Ridiculous amounts of trash and homeless loiterers outside the property.
