DoubleTree by Hilton Boston - Downtown

Hotel location was good. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great but pricey. Cleanliness of hotel and room was excellent.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is dated but in a kind of nostalgic way.

We were able to get into our room early along with some cookies at check in. They let my son park in lot for a few hours to visit us too.

The room we received was spacious! Location was not too far from most of downtown Boston. Amazing proximity to China town and Theater district. Even though it was near the Tufts medical center the sound was at a minimum and we slept well.

Clean room, comfy bed, an ok stay for 2 days. Great location. Starbucks in lobby is very convinient. Staff at front desk not friendly, not welcoming. The lady that checked me in was very rude. No hospitality at all.

I stayed 2 nights. Staff were nice and location was good, but the A/C had some issues. It made some small digging noise & the bathroom ceiling cover was lifting while A/C was in operation. I asked the front to address the nosie next morning but even though a maintenance came by it wasn't really addressed. I lost hours of sleep from the noise first night and I slept hot (as had I had to turn off A/C) second night. They didn’t offer another room.

The floor in the room was creaking

The sheets and towels were pristine. The staff were friendly and helpful. Otherwise this is no better than a two star hotel. It is apparently being used as a hostel/dorm for tufts students. You can do MUCH better.

Nothing unique, everything was good about it and there were no surprises and just a single minor dissapointment which was a slow bathroom tub drain
