Extended Stay America Suites Seattle Bothell Canyon Park

This hotel seemed more like a permanent residence for low income individuals than an actual hotel. There was even a couple of police cars in the parking area when we arrived. This should have been our first clue. Upon entering the lobby it smelled bad, like cat urine. On the second level the hallway had an even stronger urine smell. The room smell was a little better than the hallway, Unfortunately we could not open the window to get fresh air. The floor was sticky and very dirty. It seemed like it had never been mopped. We had to wear our shoes. The pull-out sofa was broken and had no bedding. We had to get bedding from the front desk and make the bed ourselves. The mattress on it was as thin as cardboard. The bed was not much better. There were no amenities in the room at all except 1 tiny bottle of shampoo and a small bar of soap. At around 7pm the upstairs residents starting stomping and slamming things and this continued until well past midnight.

there was ants in our room one of the burners didn't work, it was a very horrible experience for my family. when I tried to use the washer and dryer it took 10 dollars from my account and I tried to get a refund they wanted everything to prove they were at fault.

The furnishings are terrible. Bed: The mattress was so work out that we could feel the bed springs. It was not comfortable at all. Pull out sofa: The pull out sofa, which we used as a sofa is very uncomfortable to sit on, because the cushions didn't cover the entire seating area, so you felt the metal frame. Kitchenette: Only one of the 2 burners actually worked. Kitchen furnishings: The property does say that you can use the kitchenette in your unit. However, no pots/pans/utensils/glasses etc. are provided until you ask. At which time you receive 1 plate, 1 cup, 1 bowl, 1 mug, 1 plastic cup, 1 knife, 1 fork, 1 spoon for each registered guest. We also got 2 pots to cook in, 1 with a lid, plus a large plastic spoon & spatula for cooking. I would call this minimal at best. Continental Breakfast: The offerings for breakfast were poor. Available were little mini-muffins, and Nutrigrain bars & instant oatmeal. No fruit, nothing fresh. The staff were very nice though.

Strategically located for me. It was somewhat clean The property has home amenities but why have a refrigerator plugged in and no ice. When I asked for ice I was told I could be given an ice tray to set in the fridge to get ice at a later time. No toilet brush or plunger for any incidents accidents in the bathroom. It had an Air BNB set up but lacking in items to be used.

I checked in the 26th checking out the 27th the front desk lady who checked me in about 6:00 p.m. I explained to her that I had an appointment early in the morning she said she was going to have breakfast to go bag snacks ready for me and my family I wake up in the morning to go get them and come to find out the other lady at the front desk that they don't do that I tried to explain to her that the other lady said she was going to and she caught the attitude was like we don't do that so I don't know what to tell you the place was dirty it's like they haven't took in the garbage out in the garbage area inside the building by the stairway on the third floor or by the elevator not the stairway anyway it's like that garbage hasn't been taken out for weeks it was so piled up the whole house is stuck like some type of food I tried to take a shower and a bath no hot water the pull-out bed on the couch if nothing but screamed and so noisy if somebody moves on it I will never stay there again my kids enjoyed the pool that was about it

Front receptionist was really nice informed me of all the free amenities that was offered and just my stay was great overall

It was a very clean motel and friendly staff.

Fold out sofa bed was unbearably just springs. No glassware in the kitchen. Had to request bedding for the sofa bed.

Hotel is filthy. No breakfast. Homeless camp in parking lot. Said lot dwellers are loud all hours of the night. Room was dirty and outdated. Full kitchen with no way to use it so eating out is the only option. I won’t go back and will warn all my coworkers.

We got the room to sleep six adults. The pullout bed was an oversized twin and felt very rickety. The breakfast was a basket of granola bars. If you needed anything for your kitchenette, you needed to ask for each item individually. There was no fan in the bathroom. The staff was nice and the pool was adequate. Good parking.

The facility was very clean and welcoming The microwave locked my dinner inside and I couldn’t access it for 45 minutes! With the help of YouTube (and not the staff) I was able to unlock it. Breakfast choices were disappointing.

People staying there with cats and dogs. It felt like a hostel. The hallway smelled like cat pee. Had to Ask for dishes in a kitchen suite. The room came with no kitchen stuff.

So one doesnt keep adding to the problem.

Wish the sofa bed could be better.

Low class hotel. The rooms are big so that's a plus. No deposit if paying by card. Not bad for a couple nights if needed.
