We loved the room for both the high ceiling and decor that is devoted to history. The hallways are also adorned with historical figures, but the low lighting makes it challenging to peruse. Rooms are not equipped with a coffee maker or fridge, the nudge being that they want you to use room service or the dining facilities. We checked out the movie theater and were impressed that it was showing a first-run movie plus there is a bar on site.

We loved our stay and our spacious room. Everything spotless and comfortable. Only drawback is how expensive it is to have meals onsite, and know before you go there is no mini frig or coffee maker in rooms. The onsite massive swimming pool and movie theater were great!

This was a second trip to this property. We'll be back!

Uniqueness. The Shed would close at 9 but at 8 “ Joshie would say he could make us a drink because he was cleaning up. If you are open till 9 or 10- then that’s your hours. Don’t make guests feel like you are imposing when the facility is open for another hour. This happened on more than 1 evening with him.

the staff was very nice and helpful, the plants, lighting, pictures and sitting areas were great. The food was ok, better food would have made the stay much better. We made reservations (as per site recommendation) at Nui Nui, came in told the gal i had a reservation she looked at me like i was crazy and told us to sit anywhere (the place was practically empty- Thursday night 7pm). We sat at a table and waited for over 10 min. no one came by to give us menus or to address us, so we left, saw no wait stay upon leaving. Went to the tavern on the square, was greeted and seated and attended to very promptly. The food was just rather plain (pizza and gumbo). Food

Staff was very friendly!

The room and facilities were clean. We stayed 5 nights. While the sheets and towels were not changed every day, the staff was very helpful and changed them when we requested it. I will definitely return and stay there again.

great place to spend an overnight

This is a beautiful property, very cute and themed. Love the gardens! We played some pool and had lots of fun. The arcade was something I didn’t expect, nice for families. The coffee in the morning was top notch.

Beautiful property and friendly staff. Unfortunately the Pool was closed and our rooms A/C was not working on a 90 degree day. It was still over 80 degrees in the room at 3am. The hotel staff was kind enough to offer us fans for the room.

Fun, quirky vibe. Really neat idea with lots of things to explore. Overall, felt a bit dark and dingy.
