It was closed down! I got no email. No phonecall. Nothing! Turned up and nowhere to stay
-
Paid booking up front for room over 600$$$$ and the hotel was out of business. Can’t get a refund from booking- bad customer service Hotel no longer in business
-
So u took our money but we had no room. We had to locate another hotel and 300 dollars plus whatever we paid you. Your crooks.

The property was sold to WKU over summer and I was not informed of this. Showing up during a very large event to nowhere to stay and the 3-4 hours it took to get me into another hotel after a 16 hour day was not what I had on my bingo card. The property was sold to WKU over summer and I was not informed of this after booking my room back in January. NOTHING THEY CLOSED THE LOCATION WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME, LEAVING ME WITH NO PLACE TO STAY.
-
It wasn’t a hotel anymore and we were not notified prior to our arrival and drive of 13 hours straight. Much to our surprise we arrived at midnight to be told the hotel is no longer a hotel but strictly dorms for the WKU college. Had to make last minute reservations at another hotel!! Very unhappy
-
Nothing - was give same day notice of closing one month before or arrival without assistance for another hotel. Nothing
-
When I arrived at the location, there was no Hyatt Place, the hotel had been sold to WKU on the 1st of July, 3 days before the Booking.com confirmation email and 6 days before my confirmed stay. How can Hyatt sell a hotel and then allow their third party reservations go on without advising the clients that the hotel had been sold!
-
Do Better!!!! I use Booking all the time, but now I've been let down terribly, so now I'm not sure about future reservations. Someone dropped the ball!!!

The hotel no longer exists! The hotel no longer exists!

The whole hotel was closing the day day we checked out. Supplies were limited. 1 key card, no hand soap for bathroom, they put hand soap in a small plastic cup you would put ketchup in from a fast food place. Said ran out of hand soap and hotel was closing its doors next day. Pool was closed(website said it would be open by May 23rd. We were there end of June. Cable was no longer available for tv. They did not inform us hotel was closing the next day and were short on supplies ie no hand soap in bathroom, cable tv not available, pool closed indefinitely

The guy who checked us in was very friendly and the bed was comfortable The TV was on the blitz. When we called the front desk they said rhere was a problem with the provider. It was weird that they had a typed sign at the front desk about the TV. My husband has trouble relaxing before bed without the TV. The worst thing was one of the blackout shades was broken and couldn’t be closed so our room was lit up all night and the morning sunlight really made it too light to sleep.

Great location. Located next to Western Kentucky University. Close to many restaurants, not walkable, but a 4 minute drive to Rafferty’s great prime rib sandwich, large menu. N/A

Location

Location, decor, staff, parking, breakfast all very good The only negative is the temperature of public areas was too cool for our liking

The lady working when I checked in was very kind. The gentleman working when I checked out was very kind. There was no secure WiFi, there was no restaurant/bar as advertised, could only watch tv through apps on my phone (and that didn’t work).
-
Breakfast and coffee was phenomenal, free cookies and water in the lobby, gym was nice and pool was heated. TV glitched and didn’t work, there was a sign in lobby letting guests know.

Breakfast was great. Very nice variety and always refreshed. Beds in the room were comfortable. This is my second time staying at this hotel. Both times the cable stations have trouble coming in. I could not watch local or cable channels on the TV. I tried streaming to the TV from my mobile device, but got frustrated and gave up. It would be great if Hyatt Place figured out the TV issues.
