Clean and quiet place

Very clean nice rooms close to everything

Room was clean, beds weren’t as comfortable as I would have liked, breakfast was ok , biscuits were hard and dry.

Everything !! The location was perfect. The staff members were amazing. Samantha was just wonderful !! I lost one of my room cards about as soon as we checked in. She was so kind and immediately gave me another one. She was a great first impression of the Grand View !! All of the staff members were so friendly and attentive The hot breakfast each morning was wonderful. The gentleman who prepared everything took such pride with his presentation. There was something for everyone!! The housekeeping staff did the best job !! Not one thing

LADY AT CHECK-IN WAS RATHER RUDE. SHE ALSO CLOSED DOWN POOL EARLY AS SHE SAID SHE SAW LIGHTNING...THERE WAS NO LIGHTNING.

The breakfast was good The 2nd floor smelled bad. Our room smelled bad. Something aggravated my allergies horribly!!

Checking in on first day was great! We had some changes we had to make and she did everything she could and made it work for us. Room was clean. Pool was clean overall good experience.

The beds were a little on the stiff side for me and my husband but that comes down to each person's own opinion of course.

Location They did not follow the agreement we previously made with booking to pay at the property. They called me the day of arrival said if I did not pay them now over the phone they would not hold my reservation. Booking.com had sent an email saying that the property wanted pre payment now but it was optional and I would still have a reservation even if I didn’t. I went back on booking and paid BUT when I nicely questioned it upon arrival they said the Booking was not supposed to ever offer their property as a pay at property. So that was confusing and I feel they probably should not list with booking if they can’t get the issue resolved. It was a hassle to be called and I would never give CC over the phone from a random caller. Also if you call and someone assures you they are still coming why not honor the agreement. Booking takes your card to charge you anyways if you no show?

Close to the attractions we were going to. Room was clean. Room had huge holes in the wall that had been poorly repaired and sheet rock tape peeling. Bathroom door barely cleared the toilet to open. Hallway carpet was dirty, and hallway smelled musty. Staff was not friendly on arrival and called me 30 mins before my estimated check in time to inform me that they were full and if I didn’t get there within the next 30 mins they wouldn’t hold my room because they didn’t have my card info even though i provided my card info through booking.com to reserve the room.

Beds were so hard fortunately I was exhausted. It was clean.

Pool needed to be cleaned, but I still enjoyed it on a hot day!
