Grand Oaks Hotel

Our room was very clean, friendly staff & they had a good breakfast, good variety.

Location only When we first arrived I had already paid online, but upon arrival I was charged a $100 deposit that was never mentioned no biggie except their register kicked back a code and said my card wouldn’t work I called the bank and of course it is closed it’s Saturday at 3. I then said try it again it is all I have it went through no problem! The outdoor pool was my reason for renting it is not on the same premises as the hotel. We had to walk down a huge hill to get to the other building and then had to walk back up. We are healthy, but older people or anyone with health issues this would not be ok. Our room was so hot and the floor was wet below the ac unit. We called down and our front desk came right up with keys for a new room it never cooled down to way in the night. We had to go buy a fan. I would not stay again.

The check in was nice and simple. The gentleman seemed tired but friendly. The hotel it self was nice and clean and felt safe. Their breakfast was nice and tasty. The area was maintained and clean.

This is an old property that does have a good location. There was nothing bad about it, but nothing good either. It is a very average kind of place that was just meh. We wouldn’t stay here again unless we were in a pinch.

We love the location and it's quiet. Always clean and staff is always great. We didn't like the fact that maids came banging on our door wanting to clean the room before we had even checked out.

I like the location and I like they had an indoor pool and an outdoor pool and I like that the indoor pool also had a hot tub the room was clean the bed was just about like any other normal motel in that category Or motel room did not have no smell it was fine but the hallways had some kind of funky smell that they need to probably try to take care of

It was very clean. We had plenty of nice towels and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was good. I didn’t dislike anything.

We have been staying here last 3 summers. With extended family. Location, price, cleanliness, and breakfast make it a great choice. This time our shower head whistled something awful. We just reported it . So hopefully the newsletter person doesn't deal with it. Only thing why no bathroom vent fans? We could be back unless rent a huge house.
