I expected better. It felt like a very antique building. Rooms are small, and the bathroom is very small. I could barely sit on the toilet and shut the door. The A/C did not work well. The TV is a nice size but the volume was VERY LOW, even after turning it completely up. My kids enjoyed the pool area. The breakfast was just “okay” when we went to breakfast it was about 6:45am and nothing was prepared or ready. We had to stand around and wait on him to get done setting up. My room was in the “2nd building” very confusing. You can’t really get anything delivered due to the 2nd building door being locked at all times. I really was not satisfied with this stay at all. The best part was the pool area and even that was nothing special.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel over the July 4th weekend. It was certainly busy but the staff was courteous and check in was quick. Parking is free but fills quickly - if full, you can park in the back but there are no cameras for security. We felt more comfortable parking up front. The room has been remodeled within the past several years and is clean, but the air conditioning doesn't work properly. It had been left on 75 (it was in the mid 90s that day) so it was super uncomfortable and super humid - 64 inside the room. It took 5 hours for the air to finally cool to around 69 with 50% humidity - subpar. We had to maintain the air on 66 the whole time in order to maintain a comfortable temperature in the room - if we upped the temperature, it would quickly jump up several degrees in both temp and humidity. The water in the hotel is also very bad - one taste and we had to jump to a nearby store and buy some Ozarka so we could have palatable water to drink. The bed is ok but a tad hard. The pillows are worn out and way too soft. I brought my own just in case and was glad I did. The nose on the 2nd floor was thankfully low given how full the hotel was. The bathroom is very small, particularly the toilet room, which also includes a small shower stall. The jetted tub is super large but it was installed backwards, so you have difficulty plugging/unplugging the tub. There are no grab bars, so you just have to balance carefully. Won't stay here again.

Staff was quiet but available if needed, They were not real social. Breakfast was adequate, but nothing to brag about. Didn't get to the pool so no comment there.

It was a surprisingly great experience having never stayed at the facility. The staff was very nice and the hotel ground were well maintained and the room was clean and nicely appointed. It was an overall good 2 nights.

Nice place to stay. Pool and exercise room are available, we did not use but both seemed to be in good working condition. We seen lots of people using both. Loby had nice area to sit and chat with friends with nice TV. Breakfast was OK. We stayed for 5 nights and would be nice if there was a little variety from day to day. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Had plenty of parking, also had trailer/bus parking area. Would stay again.

Our stay at the Grand Oaks Hotel was very clean! We had a double queen and the beds were very comfortable. The room was for 3 seniors and you can’t beat having free breakfast.
-
The staff was friendly and helpful. No water pressure in the shower and the ice bucket was broken wh I ch leaked on the desk.

Loved everything about our stay. The location is the best part
-
I liked location. The bed was hard as a rock! We stayed for 3 nights and housekeeping never cleaned the room the entire stay.
-
I was there for a 5 day stay. After staying more than 2 days you have to ask for your room to be serviced. I ask Wednesday for my room to be clean I asked Thursday for my room to be cleaned I asked Friday for my room to be cleaned My room was not clean I was at a tournament all day Saturday when I returned the room wasn't clean remind you I check out Sunday so therefore my room was never clean even with asking, multiple times different shifts never happen

Nothing it was all wonderful

Breakfast was great! Different juice options, roasted potatoes, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, and yogurt. They also have a laundry room and workout room that my teenage boys utilized. Walmart is also right next door, so we went and purchased snacks and waters. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and will definitely be back again!
