Sunset Inn

This was my 4th trip to Branson and I have stayed at the Sunset each time.

It was a horrible stay. My room was dirty. I asked for a discount. Instead of trying to correct it, she asked me for pictures, then denied it was what she saw, and after stating I see the same thing that she sees, asked me why I did not talk to them earlier. I didn't because, I came back to the room at 12:00 at night, and wanted to address it in the morning . I asked to talk to the manager. She said she was the manager. I then asked for the owner. It was a bad situation that did not have to escalate. I would NOT recommend staying here.

Check in was efficient. Rooms were recently updated. They provided us with a microwave in the room for early breakfast. The pool was not usable (not cleaned, low water and green) despite within the dates pool is supposed to be open. Overall a great stay and just off the 76 strip. We felt safe and would stay again.

This is a very affordable place to stay. The staff is always friendly.

The quality was not what we expected there was not comfortable bedding the floor was broken tile. And not a good place if traveling with a truck and trailer either I will say the ac was cold that was one good thing!

Pictures on Expedia are misleading. This hotel needs a lot of work to bring it up to mediocre standards.

Lots of junkies nearby which hotel management can’t really help
