Beautiful grounds next to a wonderful hike by the water. The room was very pretty and cozy with any amenity you could need. The innkeeper was very personable and attentive to all of our needs. The full breakfast was delicious.

The inn is just lovely. My room was one of two in the carriage house. It was quiet and very comfortable. The inn and the grounds are beautifaul.

Breakfast was very good and the staff was superb. The inn was great. Brattleboro was a little less vibrant than I expected. There were lots of closed stores, but thriving small towns are few and far between, unfortunately.

Room was super clean and the hosts are excellent.

The breakfast was generous, and first-rate - we felt full most of the day! The host - Paul - was gracious and very helpful. He was available for help, and made sure we knew how to reach him. He was also kind and generous, letting us come back and use a lounge in the inn for a Zoom meeting, even though we had checked out in the morning. Definitely coming back for a stay next time we are in the area.

This is a beautiful and very well run small inn on the edge of Brattleboro. Nicely furnished and decorated, both within the bedroom and in the extensive common spaces. Staff are very friendly and personable, willing to engage in conversation and offer helpful suggestions without imposing. Breakfast was exceptional, tasty, interesting, prepared with care.
