Room was very clean and cool, amenities including pool and rooftop were great perks, neighbourhood was awesome

The decore is deconstructed intentionally but the overall aesthetic made the rooms look run down. I felt many on the staff were on their first day and some even said so. I had to call/text/email multiple times to made a pool reservation. There are steps to enter the lobby so of you have a large heavy bag you have to carry it up four to five steps. I had to ask several times for housekeeping service. The pool area is pretty good but as a hotel guest I was asked to leave at 2:00 while they had a shift change and couldn't come back until 2.30. Weird! The location is great!

It was a pleasant stay. The service was amazing.

The day passes make it hard to enjoy the pool as a guest. The room is “cute” but things are falling apart. Just “ok” but for the price I expect better. Will return to William Vale next visit

When I booked through Expedia, my reservation clearly indicated that I would pay at the property. To make sure there wouldn’t be any issues, I even called the hotel on Thursday—two days before my arrival—and confirmed with the front desk associate, twice during the same conversation, that I would be able to pay when I checked in. He also reassured me that I could use a different card upon arrival. Despite those confirmations, my card was charged before I arrived and before check-in. My Expedia reservation did not indicate that the hotel would charge my card in advance, so this came as a complete surprise. When I brought the issue to the hotel’s attention, I was initially offered a bottle of champagne as compensation. Since I don’t drink alcohol, I had to ask for a different resolution. The hotel ultimately upgraded my room and deducted $45 from my stay, but I don’t believe that adequately addressed the inconvenience, especially considering the mistake was entirely on the hotel’s side. The front desk associate who helped me during my stay was kind, professional, and genuinely tried to assist. Unfortunately, he was limited in what he was able to do because management was not on site. What disappointed me the most was that no member of management reached out to apologize or make a meaningful effort to resolve the situation. The property itself is beautiful, and the resort is lovely. However, great amenities ca

It was a bit of miscommunication of pool time & pool “ area” time from staff and life guard so missed out on half an hour on pool time

Extremely great experience at Coda Williamsburg. Lovely neighborhood, lots of food/bar/coffee spots walking distance. Close to metro lines as well. Great value/amenities. Pool was stunning, and staff was very accommodating with in and out times. Can’t wait to come back!

A nice boutique hotel in Williamsburg. The rooms are small and very basic/no frills and the bed is very low to the ground, BUT it is very comfortable! I slept very well. My main complaint is the pool access: You have to reserve (and pay) for a chair by the pool. I was not made aware of this ahead of time so there was no room for me! The hotel allows for people to book and pay for chairs for the day so if you are staying at the hotel you have to book ahead of time. I wish I was told this. There were only 2 bean bag chairs that were available first come first serve that were immediately taken! I got lucky- one of the really nice hostesses said she could allow me to sit in a chair until the person who booked the reservation arrived. Great customer service. There are drinks and food to order poolside and a lovely small rooftop bar. Decent hotel and I liked the boutique aspect. Would stay again!

This was our second stay at CODA and we had another incredible stay. Great location, amazing housekeeping and great staff. We left a jacket in our room and the staff helped ship it to England - they went above and beyond! Couldn’t recommend this place more.

My family thoroughly enjoyed the nearby parks and wonderful restaurants. The Front Desk Staff and Housekeeping were friendly, attentive, and helpful. We hope to return to Coda!

Location I specifically picked the hotel for the balcony room. I was told they had overbooked and they put me in a different room. There was hair on the towels in the bathroom... not clean.
